This holiday season, we express our heartfelt gratitude to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters!
As the year comes to a close, we invite you to listen to a special message from Frost School of Music Dean, Shelton “Shelly” Berg. He reflects on his journey during the last two decades, sharing how serving the #FrostBuilt community has been the greatest gift of his life. As he concludes his final year as Dean, he celebrates the legacy of innovation, artistry, and purpose that we have built together at the Frost School, hoping it will continue to inspire our institution for many years to come.

Happy holidays to our students, faculty, staff, supporters, alumni, and the entire Frost School of Music community. This is a season when many of us pause to reflect on the gifts we've been given. For me, one of the greatest honors of my life has been the privilege of serving as Dean of the Frost School of Music for nearly 20 years. Collaborating with extraordinary educators, artists, and students to reimagine what a music school can be has been both a joy and a. Profound responsibility, one that I will carry with me forever. As I look toward the closing of my time as Dean, I'm deeply proud of the legacy we've built together. It's a legacy of innovation, artistry, and purpose. My hope is that each of you will continue to carry that legacy forward, investing in the Frost School and in the future of music. From my heart to yours, I wish you peace, joy, and inspiration this holiday season. Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey.
