Traditional cybersecurity was built for a world where the attacker was a human, the perimeter was a network, and the threat arrived via a malicious file or a dodgy link. That world still exists. But it now shares the same infrastructure with a completely different one. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜’𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 Anthropic’s Project Glasswing has uncovered more than 10,000 high- and critical-severity vulnerabilities across widely used software, highlighting how AI is rapidly transforming vulnerability discovery at machine speed. Of the findings, over 1,700 were confirmed as true positives, with more than 1,000 classified as high or critical, signaling a major shift in how enterprises must approach patch management and cyber resilience. “The relative ease of finding vulnerabilities compared with the difficulty of fixing them amounts to a major challenge for cybersecurity,” Anthropic stated.
