Today we're getting into one of the most consequential supply chain fights of our time. From the chips inside our cars to the rare earth magnets powering our economy, supply chains have become the new battleground for global competition. And today we're talking AI export controls, smart cars as intelligence collection platforms, and how Beijing. Brussels in Washington are racing to weaponize and defend the supply chains that run modern life. I think the key difficulty with chip supply chains is that they're the most complex of any supply chain that exists of the most parts crossing the largest number of national borders. What happens in a world where all vehicles connected to 1 manufacturer from an adversary country, for example, turn on at the same time and start operating as a swarm? That's a very different style of warfare, don't you think?
