Recently I've been trying to find some time for small UI projects to polish my motion design skills. This study focuses on a casual mobile chest-opening sequence, designed to show how the interaction and feedback should feel in a real game. Tools used: ➡️ Unity (Layout & Animation) ➡️ Photoshop (Assets) ➡️ AI (Help with C# logic) #Unity #GameDev #UIUX #MobileGames #CasualGames #TechnicalDesign
Great work, what did you use for animations, like did you use a sprite sheet for the chest or did you made the animation on runtime in unity. Edit: Also how much time it took you to make this animation, just trying to make my estimations .
Great job so far! I always enjoy designing reward UX. 😊 In the case of your example, I really think the magic comes from the anticipation that’s created by the appearance and movement of the chest. So with that in mind, I have a bit of (very specific 😆) feedback if you‘re interested. I agree with Christian’s comment, but I’d go further and make the chest bounce and move around like there’s something inside trying to burst out. The intermittent bounces should occur like knocks from the inside are tipping it one way or the other. And maybe even add some distortion to the chest. Then, when it’s tapped/opened, make the bust more dramatic. Like the energy inside is what needed to come out.
Great job 👏👏👏
looks very smooth
Very clean! I know most players would just instantly tap the chest to open it, but if you want to make it real fancy I would add variations of the idle hopping chest, or like offsets.
Nice work Ewa!
Hello mate (studio), i so love your game, i am Neiv from SVerse (a platform that helps transition Web2 games to Web3). We're currently running a FREE SDK integration program for small-to-medium (and micro). We're wondering if your studio is interested in joining the Web3 ecosystem and gaining access to additional user funnels in this space. We'd love to hear your thoughts
What are you using to render the particles trough the ui? are u using camera screen space or some plugin?
verry nice animation
Wonderful work , but can this work is easy in Rive or not as compare to Unity .?
