Interesting report from Microsoft on the AI diffusion from last week. Correlating data of countries with more capacity to consume in energy, infrastructure for connectivity and usage of AI. Also interesting how the language usage for training fhe LLM is influencing the usage. It's not a surprise that UAE is leading massively in AI adoption. https://lnkd.in/e-VEAaKR

An AI CEO will run major organizations soon. Computer science students are learning yesterday's skills. The gap is widening daily. Sam Altman just dropped some truth about the future of tech careers. His message? Now is the best time to enter computer science. Especially with AI focus. Why now? • AI is compressing decades of progress into single years • Universities haven't updated curricula fast enough • AI agents are joining the workforce as we speak • GPT-5 will surpass everything we've seen before Altman's career advice hits different: 🧠 Surround yourself with smart people ⚡ Work on interesting problems 🔄 Keep tight feedback loops The reality check? Current computer science programs are outdated. Students graduate with skills that AI already automates. But here's the opportunity. Those who understand AI systems thinking will shape the future. Altman predicts OpenAI will have automated AI researchers by March 2028. That's not far away. The transistor economy is here. AI is everywhere. This isn't just another tech trend. It's the foundation of everything coming next. Are you ready to be part of building it? #ArtificialIntelligence #ComputerScience #CareerAdvice 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲꞉ https://lnkd.in/egDDMXb3

I've recently read the latest Microsoft AI Economy Institute report about AI diffusion worldwide, that uses AI User Share (a novel indicator that estimates the share of each country’s working-age population actively using AI tools), in order to rank countries. While United Arab Emirates (59,4%) & Singapore (58,6%) are at the top, Romania is ranked no. 63, with only 15,3% AI User Share. If Romania wants to remain a competitive economy, we must ride this new technological wave and adopt the usage of AI tools in our jobs! https://lnkd.in/eWGNiSfM
