A client recently approached us with a challenge: they required training specific to Alberta that aligned with their internal policies and addressed some unique operational needs. We already had course content compliant with Ontario regulations in place, and our SMEs made the necessary adjustments to ensure the content was compliant with Alberta standards. As an Instructional Designer, I find projects like this particularly rewarding. Although the changes to the content were minor, the implementation stage demanded several days and nights of work. This included modifying the content, conducting peer reviews, testing, publishing, retesting, and fixing any errors that arose. Rincy and I worked closely to rework the content, streamline the learner experience, and ensure that every detail met both provincial regulations and the client’s expectations. Ultimately, we completed the project on time, achieving client satisfaction. This is what sets our e-learning apart.
