Nobody budgets for API inefficiency. Everyone pays for it. It doesn’t appear as a line item in any annual technology plan. It doesn’t show up in board presentations. It lives quietly inside architecture decisions made three years ago — compounding silently — until someone finally asks why the cloud bill keeps growing and nobody has a clean answer. When we audited the API ecosystem, the brief was straightforward — understand utilisation, identify redundancies, optimise costs. What we found was different. Redundant calls. Poorly structured payloads. Retry loops triggered by timeout thresholds set too conservatively. Third party integrations firing on schedules that made sense in 2019 but had no business logic defending them in 2024. Nobody had built these badly intentionally. They had been built incrementally — each decision reasonable in isolation, collectively expensive at scale. The optimisation delivered approximately 40% in API cost reduction. But the more important outcome was architectural clarity. For the first time, the team could see exactly which integrations were load-bearing — and which ones were just habit. Most organisations don’t have an API problem. They have an API visibility problem. The inefficiency isn’t hidden. It’s just never been looked at directly. And in financial services — where platforms run on real-time data exchange, third party integrations, and regulatory reporting pipelines — that visibility gap has a very specific and very avoidable price. When did your organisation last audit its API layer — not for security, but for logic? #DigitalTransformation #APIStrategy #ProductLeadership #OperationalIntelligence #BFSI #Fintech #EnterpriseArchitecture

API Schema Validation: Ensuring Reliable and Consistent API Communication. In today’s connected digital ecosystem, APIs play a critical role in enabling seamless communication between applications and services. However, even small inconsistencies in API requests or responses can lead to integration failures, security risks, and poor user experiences. API Schema Validation helps ensure that APIs strictly follow predefined structures, data types, and formatting rules. By validating requests and responses against schemas such as OpenAPI or JSON Schema, organizations can improve reliability, maintain consistency, and detect issues early in the development lifecycle. ✅ Improves API reliability and consistency. ✅ Detects errors before deployment. ✅ Enhances security by blocking invalid data. ✅ Simplifies integration across systems. ✅ Supports faster and more efficient testing. As businesses continue adopting microservices, cloud-native architectures, and AI-powered applications, API Schema Validation is becoming a critical part of modern software quality assurance and API governance strategies. #APITesting # #APIAutomation #SoftwareTesting #QualityAssurance #OpenAPI #JSONSchema #DevOps #TechInnovation #APISecurity #LinkedinGrowth #B2BSales #Networking.

Why API Sprawl Is Becoming the Next Legacy System Problem APIs were meant to make integration easier. And they did… for a while. Now, many enterprises are juggling hundreds, sometimes thousands of APIs across platforms, vendors, and business units. And suddenly, integration layers are starting to look suspiciously like the legacy systems they replaced. Duplicate endpoints, weak governance, rising security risks, and growing maintenance costs are turning API ecosystems into hidden complexity traps. Forward-looking organizations are realizing that APIs need a lifecycle strategy, not just development speed. Because integration chaos doesn’t slow innovation overnight. It erodes it gradually. Most developers connect to an API. Smart developers build an agent around it. Here's the 7-layer stack that makes your APIs production-ready 👇 1. Request Agent — Intent to API call 2. Auth Agent — Token & OAuth handling 3. Rate Limit Agent — Throttling & retries 4. Response Parser — Data mapping & validation 5. Error Handler — Failures & fallbacks 6. Orchestrator Agent — Chaining API calls 7. Cache Agent — Store & reuse responses #APIAgent #APIIntegration #SystemDesign #BackendDevelopment #SoftwareArchitecture #AIAgents #DevTips #CleanCode #TechLinkedIn #BuildWithAI

Atlassian’s choice to train models on customer data while GitLab allows opt‑outs turns vendor AI‑data policies into an operational and compliance risk that EU and Romanian regulated organisations must actively manage now. To avoid GDPR, PCI and NIS2 breaches and unexpected FinOps exposure—particularly for banks and healthcare providers—teams need enforceable controls in multi‑cloud AWS/Azure/VMware environments, reproducible infrastructure and auditable trails via Terraform/Terragrunt, and explicit AI‑infrastructure governance to contain data leakage and cost drift. LoG Soft Grup, acknowledging a limited portfolio, advises on these pragmatic controls for regulated‑industry infrastructure and recommends priority engagements such as a NIS2 Readiness Sprint, Bill Autopsy (FinOps), an AI Development Sandbox and Romania talent sourcing to reduce compliance and operational risk.

New Post: Fine‑Grained API Call Provenance Analysis for Detecting Unauthorized OAuth Token Reuse in Microservice Environments - ## Abstract Microservice‑based software supply chains rely on programmatic authentication, often via OAuth 2.0 access tokens, to coordinate inter‑service communication. Unauthorized token reuse—whether caused by credential leakage, mis‑configuration, or malicious activity—can compromise the integrity of the entire supply chain. This exploratory study presents a synthetic simulation of software‑supply‑chain provenance data designed to surface patterns indicative of \[…\] \[Source & Legal Disclaimer\] This is an AI-generated simulation research dataset provided by Freederia.com, released under the Apache 2.0 License. The integration platform you bought in 2022 was designed for a world where every API had a contract you could trust. That world is shrinking. Internal tools change weekly, vendor schemas drift, and half the systems your team touches now have an LLM in the middle making the response shape probabilistic. iPaaS pipelines weren't built to reason about that — they were built to move JSON from A to B. AI agents aren't replacing integration platforms. They're absorbing the parts of integration that always required human judgment: mapping, exception handling, deciding what 'the same record' means across systems. There was another major supply chain attack on the open source community today. It was detected within 20 minutes, meaning you’d be unlucky to get caught by this. But some will have been. The original target was TanStack, but the compromised code has now spread to other packages including Mistral AI, UiPath and OpenSearch clients. We’ve seen a string of these in recent months. The trend is unmistakably upward. Here’s the good news: there’s a stupidly simple protection. Every major package manager lets you refuse versions that are less than N days old. Given the community typically catches these compromises within minutes or hours, a short cooldown is remarkably effective. I’ve set ours to 7 days. We won’t install anything newer than that. No fancy AI product. No expensive subscription. Just a simple config setting. For pnpm: set minimumReleaseAge. Other package managers have equivalents. This is probably the single most valuable thing you can do for your software supply chain security today. I’d go as far as to say that teams should drop everything and make this their top priority. The implications of getting hit are horrific. The protection takes ten minutes.

Evaluating enterprise document extraction shouldn’t require weeks of NDAs and pilot setups. We’ve added our AutoFill Engine to RapidAPI to give engineering teams a faster way to test our document-to-JSON pipeline. Instead of forcing a heavy proof-of-concept from day one, we’ve formalized a simple two-step validation process: • Visual: Drop a sample CMR or invoice into our public UI to see how unstructured data is mapped to specific business fields. • Technical: Run a quick test via RapidAPI (POST /recognize) to evaluate the exact JSON output architecture directly in your code or Postman. No mandatory discovery calls required to see if the logic works for your documents. When it comes to actual production, the approach remains strictly secure. The engine is deployed 100% self-hosted (in your VPC or on-premise) to ensure complete data sovereignty and compliance.
