When strong educators leave the profession, the conversation often focuses on the individual. “They chose another path.” But rarely do we ask the harder question. Why do so many capable, passionate teachers feel they must leave in order to grow professionally, financially, or personally? Retention is not only about hiring passionate people. It’s about creating conditions where passion can last. #Education #TeachersOfLinkedIn #TeacherRetention #EducationLeadership #TeachingProfession #SchoolLeadership #FutureOfEducation #WorkplaceCulture #Leadership

One thing I’ve been reflecting on over the last week is the balance school leaders have to strike every single day. Supporting individual students, while also ensuring the safety, wellbeing and high expectations for the whole school community. These decisions are rarely simple. They require clarity, consistency, and a relentless focus on doing what is right, even when it’s difficult. What I’ve learned over time is that strong schools are built on: - Clear values - High expectations - Genuine care for every child And most importantly - the courage to uphold those standards. Leadership isn’t about avoiding hard decisions. It’s about making them with integrity, and often, in the face of adversity. #SchoolLeadership #Education #Values #Leadership #Headteacher

Leadership often shows up in the quiet, human moments that shape someone’s day. In this week’s #Tips4Tuesday, David Casullo reflects on a powerful experience at a local elementary school that served as a reminder: leadership becomes real when it’s no longer about us and it’s about who we’re there to serve. What stood out most wasn’t recognition or visibility, but the presence, care, and intention of those showing up for others, especially the educators and staff who lead from the front lines every single day. Their impact is constant, often unseen, and deeply meaningful. #Leadership #LeadWithPurpose #HighFiveFridays
