I’ve seen firsthand how smart AI tools can transform high school learning—boosting engagement, personalizing instruction, and freeing teachers to focus on higher‑value coaching. In practice, the most effective systems combine adaptive learning platforms, AI-powered writing assistants, and virtual tutors that deliver targeted practice and real-time feedback (while respecting student privacy and district policy). For K–12 districts considering a measured rollout: start with small pilots, invest in educator training, and choose tools with clear evidence of student gains and usable progress dashboards. That’s the approach Golden Braid Technology takes in our systematic courses—practical, research-informed guidance to integrate intelligent tutoring systems and generative AI from TK through grade 12. If your district is planning a pilot or wants a framework for district-wide adoption, let’s talk about designing an evidence-based implementation that actually moves outcomes.

AI is rapidly entering K-12 classrooms. But what does the evidence actually show? EDTech Innovation Hub's recent article highlights findings from our new report, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘐 𝘪𝘯 𝘒-12: 𝘈 2026 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸, examining more than 800 studies on AI in education. Out of 800+ studies, only about 20 use causal methods to measure the impact of AI on student or teacher outcomes. Most research focuses on technical performance or short-term results, leaving major gaps in what we know about long-term learning, equity, and real classroom use. Early findings show promise, especially for tools that support reasoning and scaffold learning. But results are mixed when students work without AI, raising important questions about whether these tools are building skills or simply supporting task completion 👉 Read 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘐 𝘪𝘯 𝘒-12 report: https://lnkd.in/gCJCchuw 🔗 Read the full article by Emma Cate Thompson: https://lnkd.in/guNWTQV7

Education Beyond the Infinite Scroll: Balancing Technology with Hands-On Learning at Gould How do schools prepare students for a world shaped by AI without losing the ability to slow down and think deeply? At Gould, that balance is built into the classroom experience. Ninth graders use digital mapping tools and AI to understand the places they’re about to visit, preparing for Four Point travel across the globe. As a result, students feel a deeper connection to their host families and the world they live in. 🚀 AI in the Classroom: A New Kind of Collaboration At the start of this term, I partnered with Copilot to draft an article that became the foundation for a levelled reading assessment across my secondary ELA classes at Banbury Crossroads School. ✍️📚 What stood out wasn’t the speed—it was the shift. AI is helping educators design clearer, more accessible materials, differentiate more effectively, and create space for deeper thinking and discussion. Used thoughtfully, it amplifies the human side of teaching rather than replacing it. 🌱 Education is evolving, and our students are meeting that change with curiosity and confidence. I’m committed to evolving right alongside them. 💡
