What makes Apple Intelligence and #Gemini AI #visuals feel so organic and alive? The secret lies in shaders - a technology that enables high-performance parallel pixel manipulation beyond the boundaries of traditional layouts and components. As companies shift from flat design to dynamic, organic animations, shaders are becoming essential for standing out. Florian Vögtle explores: → Fundamentals of shaders and their primary use cases → How to integrate shader-based experiences into modern apps → Practical examples: AI integrations, dynamic scrolling, interactive buttons You'll leave with everything needed to design and implement shader-based experiences that bring your app to life. #DevFestHamburg #Shaders #AppDevelopment #UI #Animation #MobileDev #TechCommunity

The new Notion AI "like" button, with its animated face, bears an uncanny resemblance to Clippy of the past. However, the animation can be distracting while reading a Notion document. In some cases, it even appears to be staring judgmentally, which creates an uncomfortable feeling. It raises the question: how can AI enhance productivity without inadvertently undermining the user experience? #NotionAI #UXDesign #Productivity #UserExperience

Transforming Creativity: AI-Powered 2D Animation Generation https://lnkd.in/gbUTKqYJ Unlocking Creativity with AI Animation In an era where creativity meets technology, I explored innovative ways to enhance the Memory Hammer app. Here's a glimpse of my journey: Dynamic Animation: After facing issues with Lottie animations, I pivoted to Rive. However, I found it challenging to test before purchasing, leading me to creatively use Hailuo AI for a simple yet engaging brain animation. Local AI Models: I discovered FramePack and Wan2.2—local models that produced excellent results right off the bat. Their reproducibility allows for consistent results, which is a game-changer in video generation. Cutting-Edge Insights: Benchmarking local vs. cloud models revealed surprising efficiency, despite some quirks in performance. Join the discussion! What animation style resonates with you? Let’s connect on LinkedIn and explore the future of AI together. 👉 Share your thoughts and experiences! Source link https://lnkd.in/gbUTKqYJ

Here's a thought 💡: I often find myself preferring older AI video models over the very newest launches. Why? Their UI and feature sets are often richer, offering more options and possibilities for non-canonical workflows. I'm always seeking emergence: those truly unexpected textures and uncommon animation vibes 🌀. For that specific purpose, I'm finding nothing beats using one model to "hypnotize" another in a recursive flow. This post is a small study on organic wet textures made with Pika 1.0 + Sora 1. #AIVideo #GenAI #CreativeTech #Pika #Sora #MotionDesign #Emergence

"The stitch feature is possibly the most incredible tool I have seen" After toiling on AI, Animation, and UI/UX, and then bug-hunting for weeks, this is the best type of feedback our team could hear. A happy user in our discord channel was talking about Motion Stitching. It's the latest feature that lets a user combine two 3D animations into one with newly generated frames. It's what Luma AI, Runway, and Google DeepMind do for 2D video, but we do it in 3D, for any character, with world position control. It's hard, really hard. But the beauty lies in making it feel seamless. "This is one of the few if not only products I have seen that utilize AI and has a fantastic use as a tool alone generation aside" Can't wait for the next feature to drop. We're only getting better.

Adobe Research just shared MotionStream, a new approach to real time AI video. It lets you control motion as the video is being made. You can draw paths, move the camera, or transfer movement and see it happen right away. No long waits or heavy rendering. The system streams video at up to 29 frames per second on a single GPU. The bigger idea is what comes next. Tools like this hint at a future where creative teams can direct motion, animation, and camera moves live inside AI models instead of waiting for outputs. Real time, motion aware video generation is coming fast, and it’s going to change how we create.

Got my hands on this workflow after seeing Fillip Isgro's demo and it really changes how I can think about movement inside ComfyUI. This workflow makes it so simple to have splines moving objects in your videos. Shout out to Fillip for making this process so easy and fun to play with! This is a small revolution in how animation logic connects to generative workflows. So much potential here for creative experiments. Personal work not related to practrice. #ComfyUI #GenerativeAI #AIforDesign #AIDesign #CreativeCoding #AnimationTools #PathAnimation #AIWorkflows #AIArtTools #VisualScripting #ArchitecturalVisualization #DigitalDesign #ComputationalDesign #Innovation #DesignTechnology #CreativeProcess #MachineLearningArt #AIDevelopment

I burnt my precious AI credits trying to recreate a simple header animation. Still think AI can replace humans? Think again! Last week, I was working on my first YouTube video, trying to recreate an animation from MKBHD's Panels app. I gave it as much context as possible, extracted every frame of the animation, and wrote the most detailed prompt you've ever seen. But after countless back-and-forths, the animation still looked broken. Then I remembered a technique I saw in the Reanimated documentation the week before. It wasn’t exactly what I needed, but I understood the principle. I deleted everything the AI had generated and implemented the animation myself. 15 minutes. Done! The solution was surprisingly simple, but the AI kept overengineering it. Here's what I learned: AI can't take your job if you're a problem solver, not just a coder. Anyone can now code with AI, but it often needs experienced guidance. What do you think? Are we becoming too dependent on AI for problems we could actually solve faster ourselves?

🚀 Just tested every new feature in Google's Veo 3.1—and the results are wild! 🔥 From multi-image video creation to smooth frame-to-frame animation, Veo 3.1 is leveling up video generation like never before. Here’s what blew me away: ⭐ Ingredients to video lets you blend multiple images into one scene—imagine combining a face, outfit, and background effortlessly. ⭐ Frames to video creates seamless transitions between first and last frames—perfect for creative animations. ⭐ Video extension now works outside of Google Flow, stitching longer clips together automatically. ⭐ You can add new elements into generated videos, prepping for future object removal tools. ⭐ Fast mode lets you try features that quality mode doesn’t—like multi-image inputs. ⭐ The ability to edit and iterate videos pixel by pixel is a game changer for personalization and fine-tuning. Comparison highlights: 🎥 Veo 3.1 nails creative cartoons, fanfiction, and anime styles with impressive freedom—even generating trademarked characters (surprisingly uncensored!). 🎥 Sora 2 edges out on realistic human videos and physics, performing better on things like backflips. The AI video space is evolving fast: from fuzzy, unclear early models to crisp, interactive creations that you can edit and extend. This tech is opening doors for creators everywhere! What new video generation feature excites you the most? Curious to hear your thoughts! Is this post okay, or add more on Google Veo 3.1 features? #AIVideoGeneration #Veo3.1 #TechReview
