Claude just doubled your usage limits for two weeks And it's automatic starting March 15th. Anthropic announced 2x usage outside peak hours through March 29th. When you get double: Weekdays: 2x usage outside 5–11am PT (12–6pm GMT) Weekends: 2x usage all day Saturday and Sunday Who gets it: Free plan users. Pro plan users. Max plan users. Team plan users. Works everywhere you use Claude. Including Claude Code. Nothing to enable: It's already active. Use Claude like normal outside peak hours. Your limits automatically double. Why this matters: Peak hours are 5–11am PT when usage spikes. You were hitting limits during those windows. Now you can shift heavy work to afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Same tasks, double the capacity. What to do differently: Batch big projects for off-peak hours. Run Claude Code sessions in afternoons. Process large documents outside the morning rush. Schedule team workflows for weekends if deadlines allow. The constraint just loosened for two weeks. Use it. P.S. Want to learn more about AI? 1. Scroll to the top 2. Click "Visit my website" 3. This is actually perfect for creatives — I batch my design + copy workflows in off-hours and get way more done.

More usage helps, but knowing what to do with it matters.

Appreciate you sharing this, Martin. This will give teams more room to actually work and less time spent worrying about limits.

I like how this turns a limitation into something you can actually plan around. Makes it feel more like a system to work with instead of against

Shifting work off-peak is useful, but the real win is testing workflows that normally hit limits and fail mid-run.

Love that you don’t need to enable anything, just works 🙌
