A second day in #InternationalCoachingWeek that was worth every minute. I started the morning with a fun and inspiring NLP class, using the metaphor of preparing a Spanish tortilla. Seamus O Muircheartaigh ICF MCC, EMCC Senior Practitioner proved he can master tortilla‑making even better than some Spaniards and the metaphor was spot on. Then I joined Use Your Edge for their first session on Designing the Route and the introduction to the Compass Coaching Mindset. We explored why framing a coaching conversation matters, how the compass becomes a metaphor for learning and change, and the first four key mindsets. More to come this week —and they’re launching a full training in July (worth 10 CE). I also revisited yesterday’s session with CoachBridge and their amazing project grounded in neuroaffirmative principles. They’re bringing an essential perspective to neurodivergent work, and a toolkit is already being developed from the class. https://lnkd.in/eFa8Vxtj I closed the day with the brilliant Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, MCC, who reminded us that “we are not here to make our clients feel good, but to see.” She beautifully modelled presence in coaching and how safety must come before trust.
