Will AI replace recruiters? In my many years of building JOBSEEQR and my rich background in AI, I’ll tell you this: We sometimes find ourselves addressing pushback by recruiters on the technology we’re building because they’re scared AI will turn them jobless. From my expertise I can guarantee you that AI is just not capable to replace you. And those who have tried to replace humans with AI have failed spectacularly, with many companies that started 2025 laying off its workforce to replace it with AI regretting their decision to do so because none saw a net-positive outcome. (Klarna, for example) A non-HR example: AI sales calling agents sound so AI-ish if you add them to your business sales will go down. Your buyer wants to hear a human being on the other side to trust you, not Rachel from Elevenlabs. Similarly, with AI interview software: many applicants actually hate companies using AI for job interviews, and it leaves a bad impression of such companies. The human touch in hiring still matters, and if it’s not applied, your company’s reputation is actually at risk. So, to recruiters: your job is safe, even when AI “gets there”. AI is here to help you focus on the important parts of your job, and handles the repetitive time-consuming tasks you always wished you never had to do. #AIinHR #HRTech #HumanTouch #FutureOfWork

AI in hiring isnt just about insights — it’s about solving the real challenges recruiters face. That’s why I’m super excited about BrightHire's new AI agent, Candidate Rediscovery! It uses AI to resurface top candidates, rank them against new roles, and make re-engagement one click away. That’s meaningful innovation recruiters can use every day 🚀

I suspect relationships matter more than ever to get hired. Because nobody is able to deal effectively with this big hot mess. Receiving 500 applicants, even before AI, might seem like a blessing, but was a challenge even then. How do you sift through 500 applicants to find the best ones? How do you sift through 500 applicants if all of them used AI tools to polish their resumes to perfection? It's harder to stand out than ever. Especially if you use AI.

I see a subtle shift from Experience based hiring to Skills-First Hiring: AI has made it easy to evaluate a candidate's actual skills and competencies over traditional credentials.
