It was great to take part in this event last Thursday, together with Enabling Water Smart Communities, the Building Centre, CIWEM Events team and others. The event brought together water companies, housing developers, government, community organisations and more to learn, share and discuss how we can tackle problems of too much and too little water, and enable water-smart housing growth in the UK. ➡️ Learn more about the #EWSC project: https://www.ewsc.org.uk/
It was great to bring everyone together yesterday for our event ‘Enabling Water Smart Communities: Towards Water Smart Growth’. It was a really engaging day full of insights into all the work that has been done by the EWSC team so far, and what's still needed to enable water-smart communities across the country. The challenges are there, but as we heard yesterday from all our speakers, panelists and collaborators, there's a cross-sector group of people who are passionate, determined and knowledgeable about how we will overcome them. The launch of the Water Smart Growth Board will provide an excellent vehicle for that next step.
