Having a hard time figuring how this is a first, when Unitrode (TI) PWMs have been driving MOSFETs (up to some size) for about half a century. They were not fabulously rad hard, but many spacecraft got by when there was nothing better. I worked on rad hard versions same-same, which are still on the vendor line card, in the '90s. MOSFET driver outputs. Point me at the fine print that makes the claim any kind of true.
