I'm proud to share this announcement of the Cal Poly Noyce School of Applied Computing investment in compute infrastructure that supports our applied AI curriculum and research! This technology enables the design and creation of unique AI models and the applications that interact with them. Our students and faculty will have access to resources and talent that only a select group of universities currently have. I look forward to the innovative and multidisciplinary creations California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) brings to life!
Cal Poly is making a major investment in the future of applied AI. Our new AI Factory, powered by NVIDIA DGX technology, will allow students, faculty and regional partners to train large-scale models on campus and accelerate research in areas like medical imaging, climate monitoring and advanced manufacturing.
