OK, time to let the cat out of the bag... I am really happy to say that this is my last week of unemployment!! Covid layoffs took many, including me, on a rollercoaster over the past few months. Tough days were supported by my rockstar wife, Vanessa Suker, the endless optimism from my Mom (I know, I know), & encouragement & guidance from a good friend & mentor, Mauricio H. Muñoz Acosta. Little did I know that being laid off would put me right where I feel I'm meant to be. In hindsight, I'm ecstatic that I received the "no's" that I did... and there were plenty. I know what I wanted and the value I bring to an organization so I was determined to find a corresponding need. To those that told me no, THANK YOU! I'm eager to get back to work and help the Krispy Kreme Family continue to make the most awesome doughnuts on the planet as their new Senior Director of #eCommerce Development! 🍩☕️🍩 To those still looking, keep your head up. It will get better. As always, I'll continue to offer help because it was one of my offers to help that connected me with this exciting role.
