  • Technology Leadership Strengthens as Milind Nagnur Joins Fiserv

What always surprises me is how quickly a CTO role in financial infrastructure becomes a human coordination problem rather than a technology problem. The hardest outages I’ve dealt with were rarely caused by software defects alone. They came from different teams optimising for different objectives under pressure, each making locally rational decisions that collectively produced systemic fragility. That’s a topic I spent considerable time on in my white paper, because scaling payments ultimately means scaling trust between organisations, systems, and people simultaneously.
