I’m legitimately curious if anybody is actually getting any jobs through LinkedIn or applications these days? I really find that it’s just a void and no one’s actually getting jobs… anyone have a method that actually works?
I have not found a fit as of yet but I’ve had a few interviews from LI and Indeed. I’ve also had luck simply going direct to companies websites.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever hired someone that has an “open to work“ halo but the application process through LinkedIn has always been incredibly helpful. The question then always comes down to how are your recruiters reviewing resumes, do they actually respond to applications, do they just ignore them for those they’re hunting themselves, do they read them or just put them through AI, etc….
