Yesterday, we announced a new partnership that’s raising the bar for women athletes and reinforcing Portland as the global epicenter of women’s sports. Kaiser Permanente Northwest is proud to share that we are now the Trusted Team Physicians and Official Medical Provider of the Portland Thorns FC and the Portland Fire, delivering care designed specifically for elite women athletes and creating lasting impact in our community. The Kaiser Permanente Performance Center will be home to both teams — a first‑of‑its‑kind soccer and basketball facility designed for women athletes. Opening in Hillsboro, the 12‑acre center will unite training, sports medicine, recovery, and medical care under one roof.
