Recently, I visited Mt Maria College to watch one of our VR Roadshow sessions in action. Over the years, I've seen many VR projects produce quality content but overlook one of the most important factors for real impact: distribution.  A great in-headset experience is vital. But without a plan to reach your audience at scale, outcomes are limited. This matters even more in VR, where the majority of people do not own a VR headset. That barrier makes a distribution strategy essential. At Work Window, distribution is not an afterthought. It's central to our service. Our VR Roadshows give schools free access to 30 Meta Quest 3 headsets preloaded with our career simulations. Teachers receive video guides, lesson plans and worksheets so they can confidently self-facilitate sessions. Each fleet is stored in purpose-built Pelican cases with integrated charging and shipped from school to school weekly. We have three fleets of 30 headsets in rotation. They reach three new high schools every week. For our partners, this model provides a powerful distribution channel to reach students at scale without needing to manage logistics. Whether the goal is to raise awareness of industries facing skills shortages, attract talent to companies or support course providers in growing enrollments, distribution is what unlocks the impact.

Nice setup, do you use Meta Horizon Managed services and do you also run in to the limited selection of apps in that HMS App Store? Or do you manage it with separate accounts?

Nice one Craig Bowler . But tell me why do you get the students to sit? We always did our standing - begin standing at least

The building is fun, but sharing it with the world is the real buzz. The Pelican cases are just one way we make that happen. Whether it's a roadshow fleet here or a school logging in from the other side of the world, the mission is exactly the same. It's about getting these experiences in front of people, wherever they are, so they can find their path.

Curious how much of the impact you’re seeing comes from the scale of the roadshow vs. the structure around it (teacher guides, worksheets, turnkey setup). Those supporting layers are usually the real unlock.

Craig Scott I opt for students sitting as well. In addition to safety, I find it greatly limits discomfort issues for new viewers. Standing is great for smaller groups in bigger experiences where large open facilities are available, but this is the more rare case, more common is a small room packed with students and headsets.

VR content means little without a scalable distribution model. Schools and colleges are a good start. Cam Martin
