Many engineering teams are still spending hours, sometimes days, manually recreating designs that are largely the same. New sizes. New configurations. New customer specs. But fundamentally… the same product. This is where DriveWorks becomes incredibly powerful. DriveWorks allows companies using SOLIDWORKS to automate repetitive design tasks so engineers can generate fully configured models, drawings, and documentation in minutes instead of hours. Imagine being able to: • Automatically generate new product configurations • Standardize engineering rules across your team • Reduce repetitive modeling work • Speed up sales quoting and order processing • Scale engineering capacity without adding headcount For manufacturers with configurable or customizable products, this kind of automation can be a major competitive advantage. Instead of engineers repeatedly building the same variations, they can focus on solving the next big design challenge. Curious how companies are using design automation today? I’d be happy to share a few examples. Just message me. #Engineering #Manufacturing #SOLIDWORKS #DriveWorks #Automation #DesignAutomation #DigitalEngineering

Today I tested something small, but meaningful. Using the automation agent I recently developed for Autodesk Inventor, I created a simple nut and bolt assembly automatically. What normally takes a few manual steps in modelling and assembly was handled directly through the automation workflow. It may look like a small example, but for me it’s an important step — seeing the agent actually generate a working model inside Inventor. Moments like this make all the debugging and development worth it. I’ll be sharing more experiments and progress with this CAD automation journey in the coming days. Stay connected. #AutodeskInventor #CADAutomation #EngineeringProjects #Automation #InventorAPI #AIAgent
