The LDC4 Industry Day is a finance win: a $9.6bn framework designed to buy time. But it masks a Physics failure. We are talking about 'agility' while the Army is forced to patch legacy Bowman units with civilian satellite links because the sovereign pipe doesn't exist. Until LDC4 solves for the amortized maintenance penalty of these hull-integrated legacy systems, the 'next generation' is just a spreadsheet mirage.
Great initiative , and the more of these the better to build trust and confidence. But there have to be contracts to ….!!
