AI-assisted animation is making a major leap in 2025 by acting as an intelligent collaborator that predicts and refines character movements in real-time, enabling animators to create more natural, fluid, and context-aware animations with minimal manual effort. Tools like DeepMotion and Autodesk’s AI-enhanced software analyze vast motion capture data to generate nuanced, human-like character motions, revolutionizing the animation workflow and empowering creators rather than replacing them[1]. One bicycle 3D render, infinite creative directions. Testing AI video workflows that transform our 3D projects into animations with different creative looks. It works by restyling the original bike image to different scenes, and inserting a 3D animation of the camera movement (depth/normal pass) to steer the motion. For brands launching new products, this means exploring bold creative concepts with confidence before committing to a final production direction. These workflows evolve fast, worth keeping an eye on. #CGI #Animation #GenerativeAI #3D

The biggest mistake I see everyone make with AI animations: Asking for "cool animations" instead of specific effects. Try this instead: "Add subtle hover effect - 1.02x scale with 200ms transition and soft shadow." Specificity wins every time. My animation hierarchy for AI projects: Hover states (most important) Loading indicators (user feedback) Page transitions (smooth flow) Scroll animations (use sparingly) Decorative effects (almost never)

🎮 Procedural Animation in Action — Inspired by Uncharted 4 🎮 In this short demo, I showcase my recent work on procedural environment interaction — a system that dynamically aligns a character’s hands and body to nearby surfaces in real time, similar to the natural animations seen in Uncharted 4. Instead of relying solely on pre-made, keyframe animations, this system uses Inverse Kinematics (IK) and surface detection to make the character react intelligently to the environment — touching, bracing, or sliding hands across walls, adapting to any surface angle or distance. This approach allows for: ✅ More immersive and realistic character motion ✅ Reduced dependency on handcrafted animation clips ✅ Adaptive, system-driven animation that reacts to gameplay I developed this using Unity, C#, and animation rigging, experimenting with procedural motion blending to achieve believable results. I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👍 #Unity3D #GameDevelopment #ProceduralAnimation #AnimationRigging #Uncharted #GameDev
