"Who asked for this?" is the ultimate gut-check for AI It highlights the tension gap between technological capability (what can be done) and human utility (what actually helps us flourish). Culture wants the second component asked and answered. Disruption calls for the first. How do we meet in the middle? Because both need each other. I recently spoke to my friend Ben, who's a talented music producer about generative AI and he posed me the question "Who Asked For This?" As a deep advocate for responsible technology and as someone who's built their whole career on tech for good, I unpacked it's insight and the need for cultural safety in my latest essay. My research at Studio Machine forecasts cultural safety to be one of the biggest audience priorities in 2026 and beyond If culture-resonant AI is something you're interested in, follow me. AI has achieved adoption. To stick, it needs cultural relevance. For the last two years, the industry’s north star was "How does it work?" Today, the question has shifted to something a little more difficult to answer convincingly, "Who asked for this?" That's the title of my latest writing focused on the Promethean Gap: the widening chasm between innovation’s unlimited ability and our human capacity to actually make sense of it (which I've linked below btw) So how do AI companies answer the question? Through working with who's asking it, of course. I think we're going to see a lot more cultural exec and leader hires at AI companies and the development of in house creative labs, think tanks, creative funds, ambassadorships and more. If you're interested in what it means to build culturally resonant AI then follow me because it's all I post about #openai #generativeai #culturefirstai #aimarketing #futureofwork #creativity #Innovation #ResponsibleAI https://lnkd.in/erFAassh

This Jimmy Wales’ interview in TOI today, sparks sharp questions: 1. Just as the internet commoditized information, will AI commoditize intelligence? 2. AI: Commoditizing Intelligence or Elevating Trust? 3. Should human moderation safeguard AI‑curated results? 4. And how do we address copyright between original sources and AI systems — perhaps through revenue sharing tied to traffic? My perspective: AI is no longer just about prediction — it’s about orchestration. As a passionate learner in AI & CX, I believe the future hinges on balance: automation must amplify human judgment, and innovation must respect fair value distribution. From a technical lens, applied AI is already moving beyond prediction into context‑aware orchestration — where models don’t just generate outputs, but integrate signals across systems to drive real‑time decisions. The challenge is ensuring these systems remain explainable and aligned with human values, so trust, business outcome and service are strengthened rather than diluted. #AI #ClientExperience #DigitalTrust #Innovation #FutureOfWork

AI is not just transforming industries. It’s transforming creativity. With all the recent conversations around AI innovation and global AI summits, one thing is clear , we are entering a new era where technology is becoming a creative partner. Our song “TAJ MAHAL” is an example of that shift. Instead of using traditional production methods for the visuals, we explored a fully AI-powered video approach , experimenting with generative visuals, intelligent design, and automated storytelling workflows. The goal wasn’t just to use AI. The goal was to push boundaries. Because AI in music isn’t about replacing artists. It’s about expanding imagination. It’s about speed, scale, and new forms of expression. We’re just getting started. If you’re building at the intersection of AI, media, and creativity , let’s connect. #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #MusicInnovation #AIVideo #CreativeTech #DigitalTransformation #FutureOfCreativity #TajMahal #Artist #Artistmanagement #AIIMPACTSUMMIT

Excellent interview with Ridhima L. Co-Founder and Co-President of Eros Innovation detailing the thinking behind the launch of Eros Universe “Most global #AI models understand English prompts. Ours will understand emotion, in our regional languages and more importantly, the cultural nuance behind those words… When we talk about Sovereign Cultural AI, our models are being trained on licensed Indian storytelling, decades of films, music, scripts, character archetypes, ragas, rasas… In a Western-dominated AI landscape, that cultural intelligence becomes our advantage…” #thoughtleadership #knowledgeispower https://lnkd.in/eBtRe8ey

When AI Makes Us Feel More Human ✨ We usually share content about AI — trending projects, new tools, ways to automate workflows, and all the ups and downs that come with this fast‑moving space. In the middle of the hype, it’s easy to forget that AI brings both good and bad, and that’s simply part of the reality we’re navigating. Recently, while disconnecting a bit from work, I came across an AI‑generated performance that genuinely surprised me. At first, I didn’t even realize it was AI — I was focused on the lyrics and the emotion behind the voice, thinking it was a performance from America’s Got Talent. The song pulled me in immediately. I love rock, so the sound caught my attention, but after a while I noticed some peculiarities in the video… and that’s when I realized it was AI‑generated. This post isn’t about the technical side of it. It’s about the good that AI can bring, and the ways it’s already reshaping how we experience art, emotion, and storytelling. Whether we like it or not, multiple industries will need to embrace this shift to keep moving forward. Seeing AI only as competition will make that transition harder. I took some time to write down the lyrics and translate them into Spanish. In a world that’s changing rapidly, it’s interesting — and a bit poetic — that even AI can remind us of the values we should protect as human beings: being present, staying close to the people we love, and not taking time for granted. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I did, and that you can appreciate the beautiful contrast between technology and humanity that it brings. ▶️ Video: https://lnkd.in/eDFZYcmA

Our Founder, Kishore Lulla, speaks to ETEnterpriseAI about the vision behind Eros Universe - an AI-driven platform designed to power India’s creator economy through culturally trained intelligence and licensed content foundations. As AI scales globally, building models rooted in cultural nuance, ownership, and ethical frameworks becomes critical. Eros Universe represents that shift. Scrolling through Moltbook, a social network entirely run by AI agents, I had a moment of pause. These agents post, comment, and interact almost independently and humans are mostly observers. It’s fascinating and a little unnerving. AI-generated content is growing faster than human content, and combined with hyper-real AI videos and automated feeds, the online space is starting to feel… different. Some people even call it the dead internet effect, where authentic human content is getting lost in the noise. The interesting part isn’t just the scale of AI. It’s what this shift tells us about authenticity online. Human content, messy as it is, is becoming a premium. Platforms, products, and tools that center real human context and perspective will matter more than ever. Watching Moltbook unfold makes me realize that the world depicted in the movie Her, with AI agents communicating, forming their own patterns, and existing alongside humans, might not be as far away as we once thought. #AI #Moltbook

Ridmi Vancuylenburg This is such an interesting take. It’s cool but also a little scary to think about humans just observing while AI does most of the talking. I love your point about authenticity becoming premium. Real, messy human perspective might actually be what stands out the most soon. I’m curious (and slightly nervous) to see where this goes 🤞🏾

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on something many artists are quietly feeling — resistance to AI. Resistance, in simple terms, is the fear of adapting to something new. And in today’s artistic landscape, I see many creatives hesitant to embrace AI. Honestly, I understand the concern. Any powerful technology will influence the way we work. But here’s what I’m discovering through my own journey: AI doesn’t just disrupt creativity — it can expand creative freedom. It doesn’t replace vision — it amplifies experimentation. It doesn’t end artistry — it challenges us to evolve. Recently, I’ve been actively experimenting with AI tools to understand their core working principles. Instead of forming opinions from the outside, I chose to learn by doing. As a small step in this exploration, I created a short experimental trailer based on my own original idea — an attempt to bring a single-line concept to life using AI-assisted workflows. This is just the beginning of my exploration. The goal isn’t to blindly adopt AI. The goal is to understand it, shape it, and use it intentionally as artists.
