The promise of work is something that's been gnawing at me. I've looked at the history of a lot of different forms of automation. The buggy, the telephone, the computer, the cell phone, at every one of these junctures, they say. You're going to have more free time. You're going to spend more time with your kids. You're going to get more leisure. Yeah. And every time we get less, at the risk of being unpopular, yes, I would say we aren't going to get more leisure. The tech unlocks a set of people that chase big dreams that work really hard to go make those things happen, which then raise the bar for the rest of us. And some of us choose to opt out, which is totally OK. But we can't say the norm isn't going to rise. So we're not going to create the Wally's future. Doesn't feel that way to me. I think we're going to create a exciting future, to solve great problems, to solve many of the problems that all as a society. Yeah. The one thing I don't think it's going to be is easy and full of leisure.
