How to remove a FPGA? Very carefully. Some time ago I got the question: "We have some problems with a FPGA, can you replace it?" My first reaction was: "Maybe, it will be my first time". After thinking about it how to do this with out damaging the Board I came up with a method and setup. This is the result. SRON Space Research Organisation Netherlands

💡 How photonics unlocks neutral-atom scale. Ultrahigh extinction. Fast, low-crosstalk switching. Broad wavelength support. Here’s why those three matter for neutral-atom QPUs: • Parallelism: Address more atoms simultaneously without bleeding light. • Fidelity: Fewer unintended excitations → higher-quality gates. • Speed: Rapid routing enables faster cycles and larger workloads. The result? Tighter control loops and cleaner scaling paths for fault-tolerant architectures. 📈 TL;DR: Better optics = better qubits. “Quanscient Allsolve transformed how Albis approaches RF design.” “The ability to run high-frequency simulations without expensive hardware and iterate quickly in the cloud has been a real game-changer for us.” These are the words of Sho Watanabe, Microwave Photonics Engineer at Albis Optoelectronics. We published a new case study on how Albis Optoelectronics accelerated photodiode design cycles with Quanscient Allsolve. The case revealed how Albis simplified its RF simulation workflow, reduced design iterations, and achieved faster results through the cloud-based nature of Quanscient #Allsolve. For an in-depth look, read the full case study below. https://lnkd.in/dsBD6u8h
