How is the Post Warrantee repair of these Fans ? In conventional fan only three things can go wrong, Capacitor (Most Frequent), Bearing and Winding (once in a decade or more). In BLDC Fan probably except bearing, it will have an Achilles Heel in the Convertor-Inverter board - What about that item repair/ replacement POST-Warrantee ??? We old fashioned people (not of Generation-UT - Use and Throw) look for that feature. In most of the modern items, this is Nil. I have faced problems with Pop-up Toaster (Phillips - Which stopped popping up), Electric Kettle (Bajaj - Doesn't trip on Temperature) and the parent companies refused to service even on chargeable. Naturally I am not going for a product which has That attitude. The fans I had put on (V Guard- BLDC) at least have verbally assured of Post Warrantee services.

Highly appreciate your data n insights but Services are main issue in these brands . Have experienced this in Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd BLDC Fans purchased around 2016-17 , but they are unable to repair even in warranty or in O/W .Both fans are working but neither remote is working nor the lights .

Where is V-Guard ? In fact My fans are V-Guard for a simple reason, its Operating Voltage range is Highest which I need due to my Supply condition. The Line voltage here reaches upto 275V peak so I had to look for a Fan which was guaranteeing highest Line Voltage. Plus of course due to my stabiliser etc I had a confidence on the quality. (No I am not AT ALL Linked to the company). I think it too ahs about 6-7% market share ?

Thanks for sharing the data. I think something is missing in this data. Though there are more such BLDC fan manufacturer in the market. These are the companies product is good, well decorative, energy efficient but after sales service is very bad. Recently it is a big problem of the bldc fan, they need to focus more on service part of their product unless it will badly effect net revenue through sales return.
