Happy first day of Spring! Every day before you reach for your phone, or allow the noise of the day to enter - consider these four thoughts that can shape your entire day!
#FaithandHealing#MorningThoughts
Hi, my name is Barb Bruno and I want to welcome you to Faith and Healing tip today. And these tips basically address loss and healing and rediscovering joy. My tip today is four thoughts to start out your day. Most individuals when they wake up, the first thing you're doing is worrying about the stress or the things you've got to get done that particular day. And what if I told you that what you think about first thing in the morning can really reshape the direction of your entire day? I've been trying something. For about 90 days right now and I'm always experimenting on, you know, how to rediscover joy where I can help others do the same. And so I've come up with these four thoughts every morning and I'm realizing the impact and so now I'm I'm you know, I want to share these things with you So the first thought of the day that I feel is gratitude because I don't know if you realize it, but every single day, 150,000 to 175,000 people die worldwide. When I researched that I was like, I cannot believe that number and so the fact that. Your heart is beating that we woke up this morning that we have another day to live. That's a blessing in itself. And so that's just a great way to start out your day grateful that you're still here and you still have a chance to enjoy life and do the things that you want to do because you are still here. And again, that's thought number one. Thought number 2 is yesterday is over. We can't control what we did yesterday. And I know all of us, we have those days where we would really like to have a redo like the day just wasn't. The best day we've ever had, or maybe we said things we'd like to take back, or maybe we didn't say some things that we should have said, or maybe there were some actions that that were not proud of. You know, you, you can't bring what happened yesterday into today. There's nothing you can do about yesterday. The only thing you and I can control is what's happening right now and what's happening in our future. So when that's the second thought of the day that Jim grateful I'm here. I, I'm just so grateful that I'm here and have another day. And today is a new day every single day. Of our life is a new chapter that you and I can live and you can write whatever you want to happen in that chapter called today not bringing in the baggage from yesterday. The third thought I think about is, is I don't need other people's approval. And I think this is a hard one to learn, especially after you've had any kind of loss in your life because you have a lot of people around that are trying to advise you, let you know what to do. You know what's in your best interest. But the truth of the matter is if you've got a good heart. If you're a kind person, if you lead your life with authenticity and integrity and you're proud of who you are, you don't need somebody else's approval. You don't. And too often we live trying to satisfy and, and, and get approval from other people. And what I would love for all of you to do every day. Your third thought is, you know what? I don't need approval as long as I'm leading a life that's aligned with my values and I'm an authentic person and I'm a good person. That's more than enough. That is more than enough. And the forethought I want you to think about is good things are happening to me because there's something magical about waking up and saying good things are happening to me. Because you know what? Sometimes you're too sad, you're too angry, you're too tired, or you're moving too fast to see all the blessings in your life. Every single day is filled with blessings. Some are small, some are larger. But when you say good things are happening to me, you. Automatically start you're in tune to those things you're in tune to look for the good things that are happening to you and it's just magical when you wake up and say good things are happening to me and then in the evening when you're saying your prayers at night, be grateful for all those blessings and all those good things that did come into your life every single day. And so I would really strongly encourage all of you before you have your cup of coffee before you grab your phone before you let the noise of the day come in think these four thoughts I'm so grateful because. I'm here so grateful because I'm here. I, I have a new day today. It's a new day and I get to write it. I don't need anybody's approval. And good things are going to happen to me today because the way you start your morning really does impact the kind of day you're going to enjoy. So thanks for joining me today. Please tune in for our next Faith in Healing tip next Friday. And until that, keep the faith. Thanks.
This is so good! Thank you for sharing, Barbara 🙌
