"These agents are not the fully autonomous, do-anything agents of some science-fiction future. We're not talking about Tony Stark's J.A.R.V.I.S. from Iron Man." says Akamai Technologies CTO, Robert Blumofe on the evolution of AI agents. "These agents won't replace the web, but they will change how we use it." Read more on major implications and the birth of a new industry around the design, building, and maintenance of websites. #userexperience #webdesign #aimarketing #aiagents

There are two specific points that I find especially interesting: Vertex AI Integration: Leaks show that the model (claude-sonnet-5@20260203) has already appeared in Vertex AI logs. Since Vertex is the backbone of Google’s enterprise AI stack, this could point to an imminent rollout inside Antigravity as well. If Google is already staging the model at the infrastructure level, there’s a real chance we could see Day-1 support directly inside the IDE. Performance vs. Efficiency: Sonnet 5 is rumored to outperform Opus 4.5 while being about 50% cheaper to run. That pricing shift matters a lot. If true, it could finally ease the strict weekly limits Pro users have been hitting recently, because higher reasoning power would no longer automatically mean higher cost per task. This release would also likely push Google to speed up the launch of Snow Bunny (Gemini 3.5). If Snow Bunny can reach Opus-4.5-level performance, it would be a big win for the community, giving us Opus-grade reasoning with more practical rate limits, since Gemini quotas on Antigravity have historically been more flexible.

Google's WebMCP moves the web closer to becoming a structured database for AI agents Google's WebMCP signifies the evolution of the internet from a human-readable library into a structured, machine-executable platform necessary for autonomous AI agents to browse, shop, and perform complex tasks globally. This foundational shift promises incredible automation but threatens traditional web business models that rely on human-centric traffic and advertising, forcing web operators to rapidly adopt new data standards or risk becoming invisible to the next generation of digital users. Option 1: Is Google's WebMCP the key to unlocking true AI autonomy on the web? How will this shift from human-readable content to machine-executable platforms impact your business strategy? Let's discuss the implications and opportunities. @GoogleDeepMind Option 2: The web is evolving! Will Google's WebMCP revolutionize how AI agents interact with online services, or will it create a new digital divide? Share your thoughts on the future of the operational web. @GoogleDeepMind Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gnPva_hp

Enterprise hits and misses - AI agents get a deterministic reality check, and the SaaSpocalypse hype gets new critics: This week: AI wants to eat software, but can it? A fresh wave of critics bring a reality check. Speaking of reality check, enterprise LLM agents are getting a deterministic architectural makeover, as vendors acknowledge that out-of-the-box LLMs aren't what customers need. Microsoft continues its epic streak - in the whiffs section. http://dlvr.it/TQrnNP
