Ryan Krause has always been drawn to creativity and artistic thinking, but it wasn’t until he discovered industrial design that he found a career that truly clicked. Today, he runs Sample Studio LA with co-founder Tyler Anderson, building products that go from concept to customers’ hands. Before launching Sample Studio LA, Ryan and Tyler created Render Weekly, an Instagram community where they shared designs, hosted sketch challenges, and connected with other creatives. This effort laid the groundwork for Sample Studio and its industrial design and 3D visualization consultancy. From conceptual sketches and generative 3D design to manufacturing-ready CAD models, Sample Studio relies on #AutodeskFusion throughout the design process to streamline communication and enable seamless collaboration with clients and manufacturers. As Sample Studio continues to grow, Ryan remains focused on building a business grounded in creativity, collaboration, and hands-on problem-solving. Render Weekly’s origin story is the one that sticks for me , turning sketches into a real pipeline. The shift from community challenges to a studio that uses Autodesk Fusion to ship manufacturing-ready CAD, that’s the move. Curious how you balance creative exploration with client-ready rigor as you scale.
