Years in eLearning taught me one thing: Clients don't care what you think is impressive. They care about 4 things 👇 1️⃣ Engagement — are learners actually finishing it? 2️⃣ Completion rates — LMS data doesn't lie. 3️⃣ Learning impact — did behavior change? 4️⃣ LMS tracking — does it work? Broken SCORM is a painful conversation. They measure success in outcomes — not outputs. Build for their results, not your portfolio. Anything you would add to this list? 👇 #eLearning #ClientSuccess #LearningAndDevelopment #InstructionalDesign #LMS

An LMS is not just a platform where content is uploaded. It’s a system that needs structure to actually deliver learning. When it is set up properly, it does more than host courses: ⚙️ It guides learners through a clear journey 📚 It organizes content in a meaningful structure 🧠 It enables proper assessments and tracking 📊 It gives visibility into real learning progress #LMS #LearningAndDevelopment #InstructionalDesign #CorporateTraining #EdTech #LumioAdvisory

3 simple ways to improve your LMS today If you’re using Moodle or Google Classroom, here are 3 simple ways to improve your system immediately: 1. Organize your courses clearly Group content by weeks or topics to make navigation easier. 2. Standardize your structure Use the same format across all subjects so students don’t get confused. 3. Simplify assessments Keep quizzes and exams structured and easy to access. Small improvements like these can make a big difference for both teachers and students. I work with schools and training centers to set up and improve LMS systems for better learning experiences. 💡 If you need help optimizing your system, I’m happy to assist. #Elearning #LMS #DigitalLearning #EdTech #OnlineLearning

Not all eLearning is about training. Sometimes, it’s about showcasing your value; clearly, interactively, and memorably. That’s where great design meets smart learning strategy. #Learnawesome

This week, I’ve been exploring another important part of eLearning… not just building courses, but delivering them 👇 That’s where LMS (Learning Management Systems) come in. I’m starting to understand that creating a course is only part of the process. You also need to think about: 🔹 How learners access the course 🔹 How progress is tracked 🔹 How performance is measured Tools like Moodle and TalentLMS show how learning can be managed at scale. This changed my perspective: eLearning is not just about design… it’s about the entire learning experience—from creation to delivery. Still exploring this side, but it’s a key part of the process 🎯 #eLearning #InstructionalDesign #LMS #DigitalLearning #EdTech

Continuing the Curriculum Wizard—this is where it all comes together. When you launch the Wizard from your LMS, you’re not opening a separate tool. You’re already inside your course. So when you select a preset—let’s say “Family & Home Signs”—and you’re ready to assign it, everything is already wired to your course shell. Set the assignment title. Choose your grading mode (Most Recent, Best Score, Mastery, Average, First Attempt). Cap max attempts if needed. Click Add to Course. That’s it. The assignment shows up in your gradebook with the right name, point value, and launch link—no copying URLs, no manual setup. Same flow whether you’re in Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, or Moodle. This is where the LTI work really starts to matter. 👉 If you’re running ASL programs and want to see this in your LMS, let’s connect. #LTIAdvantage #DeepLinking #ASLEducation #EdTech

Digital learning that actually engages. The problem with most eLearning? It feels like checking a box. Click, click, click. Done. Forgotten. Real digital learning is different. It's: - Designed for mobile (because people learn on the go) - Broken into chunks (because attention is precious) - Interactive (because people learn by doing, not watching) - Accessible (because everyone deserves to learn) - Connected to real work (because theory without practice is useless) When you design digital learning with the whole human in mind, engagement shifts. Completion rates rise. People actually remember what they learned. That's digital learning done right. #BeHappyBeHuman #DigitalLearning #eLearning #LearningDesign

Next up in the Curriculum Wizard walkthrough: one-click LMS launch with Deep Linking 2.0. When a teacher selects a preset and clicks “Add to Course,” the assignment is delivered directly into their LMS: → Assignment title carries into the gradebook → Grading mode (Most Recent, Best, Mastery, Average, First Attempt) applied automatically → Max attempts set at the assignment level → Works across Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, and Moodle No copy-paste. No manual gradebook setup. Just select, configure, and assign. 🎯 LMS admins and ASL program leads—see it in your environment.
