I’m excited to be joining Boise State College of Engineering as an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering starting in the Spring of 2026! I greatly appreciate everyone at Boise State for making this transition seamless! I would also like to thank NXP Semiconductors for an excellent start to my career and in particular Madan Vemula for being pivotal to my career in analog circuit design! This will be the introduction of the Novel Techniques in On-Chip VLSI & Analog (NOVA) Circuits Lab (web presence will be coming in the next couple of months) where I will be leading the development of high-performance analog & mixed-signal integrated circuits and training qualified professionals for the semiconductor industry. Our initial projects will be in high-speed photonic serial links for which we are looking for 1-2 motivated PhD students to, ideally, start in Fall 2026. If you are interested in starting, or advancing, your career in high-speed analog integrated circuits please email me at asheldon (AT) boisestate (DOT) edu with the subject “Prospective PhD Student” with details about a circuit you have built or a paper that was particularly motivational to you (doesn’t have to be an IC) and your resume/CV. Also please take a look at the information at https://lnkd.in/gK7cm7J4. Also, any contacts that want to talk circuits, in any form, please also send me an email at the same address and we can discuss potential collaborations for now or the future! Any comments/likes to spread the word are greatly appreciated!
Congratulations
