Workflow breakdown behind “One Message” ❤️ This project was created using Magnific (formerly Freepik) AI generation models for both visuals and animation, alongside ElevenLabs, Pixabay and CapCut for voice, sound design and final editing. A lot of the focus went into cinematic lighting, emotional pacing, scene consistency and creating subtle human moments through stylized 3D animation. 🎬 Full breakdown & workflow on Behance: https://lnkd.in/g8JgSWts

And then it moved. This character is the same one from the previous workflow I shared — transitioning from sketch to generated image to character sheets. At the end of that pipeline, when handed off to Kling for animation, this is the outcome. There is no rigging, no traditional 3D software, and no frame-by-frame animation involved. Instead, a character sheet is fed into an AI animation tool, directing it toward the final result. The workflow concludes when the character moves.

One thing people don’t always realize about 3D animation and digital art is that it’s a long-term craft. It takes patience, consistency, technical skill, artistic understanding, and a lot of practice before the financial rewards become stable. So yes… when someone says: “Learn a skill and start making money immediately,” …and the only skill you choose is 3D animation? Lol 😅

Excited to share a new feature added to MO Tools: Dynamic + Original Animation for Dynamic Chain. This enhancement addresses a significant workflow need for animators, maintaining the original motion while adding secondary simulations. Instead of replacing the animation entirely, this new mode allows users to preserve the original movement and layer dynamics on top. Additionally, the original motion drivers can be displayed in the scene, edited in real-time, and animated as needed. This improvement streamlines art direction, making it faster and more practical, especially when aiming to retain the animation performance already established. I am pleased with how this update enhances usability and makes the dynamics workflow more animator-friendly. Video-guided 3D animation holds immense potential for content creation, offering intuitive and precise control over dynamic assets. However, practical deployment faces a critical yet frequently overlooked hurdle: the pose misalignment dilemma. In real-world scenarios, the initial pose of a user-provided static mesh rarely aligns with the starting frame of a reference video. Naively forcing a mesh to follow a mismatched trajectory inevitably leads to severe geometric distortion or animation failure. Rectified Dynamic Mesh (R-DMesh), a unified framework designed to generate high-fidelity 4D meshes that are ``rectified'' to align with video context. I animated Dhalsim from 16-bit pixel art into a full Street Fighter poster using Local AI & After Effects. This is Part 1 of the breakdown behind the full animation. Self-initiated project. Created as a production test for building a complete AI-assisted animation locally and finishing it in After Effects. The piece transitions from a 16-bit Dhalsim concept into a finished Street Fighter poster animation, built with a local AI video workflow and finished in After Effects. Workflow used: ComfyUI for the local AI video workflow Wan 2.2 Image to Video for animation passes Wan 2.2 First and Last Frame to guide the transition and control motion Wan 2.2 VACE for seam fixes and repairing areas where clips meet Nano Banana in Photoshop for image edits, cleanup, and preparing poster elements After Effects for compositing, timing, fire enhancement, additional cleanup, music, and sound design Part 2 covers the second half of the animation. #MotionDesign #AfterEffects #AIVideo

🚀 Auto Lip Sync in Moho – One Click Workflow I recently created a simple workflow that automates lip sync in Moho using a custom tool. Instead of manually animating mouth shapes frame by frame, this approach helps speed up the process significantly and keeps the animation production-ready with much less effort. 🎯 Key benefits: • Saves a lot of animation time • Reduces manual keyframing • Works smoothly inside Moho pipeline • Useful for character animation workflows 🛠️ Tool used: Auto Lip Sync Tool for Moho https://lnkd.in/duCnV8cH 🎥 Full tutorial here: https://lnkd.in/dPUntjFC If you're working in 2D animation or motion graphics, this kind of automation can significantly improve your workflow efficiency. #animation #motiongraphics #moho #2danimation #characteranimation #rigging #digitalart #motiondesign #animationworkflow

Doomscroll — an animated loop about being online a little too much. This was an experiment to test a hybrid 2D/3D animation pipeline. Most elements were created as 2D drawings and animations in Toon Boom Harmony, then brought into Blender's Grease Pencil system as vectors. From there we added native Grease Pencil elements, a Rigify rig, and some Geo Nodes magic — all combining to create a carefully choreographed moving illustration. #animation #illustration #2D #3D #blender #b3d #greasepencil #greasepencilanimation #toonboom #toonboomharmony #geometrynodes #motiondesign #animationstudio

From Blender Viewport to Final Render: Bringing "Budi" to Life 🎬 Sometimes, the most rewarding part of 3D animation isn't just seeing the final render—it’s the step-by-step process of fine-tuning every single keyframe. In this shot, my focus was on micro-gestures and natural expressions—capturing that subtle, hesitant hand movement before a sudden reaction. Getting the body mechanics to sync organically with facial rigging is always a fun challenge, but that's where the magic happens. Check out the breakdown below to see the side-by-side comparison of my Blender workspace versus the final output! 🚀 I’d love to hear your thoughts, fellow animators and creators. Any feedback on the weight or timing? Drop a comment below! 👇 #3DAnimation #Blender3D #CharacterAnimation #3DArtist #BehindTheScenes #AnimationProcess #CGI

9 out of 10 people won’t remember perfect animation. But they’ll always remember how it made them feel. “Emotion beats perfection every time.” That’s why this quote from Ralph Bakshi still resonates deeply in the animation industry: “What’s most important in animation is the emotions and the ideas being portrayed.” In today’s world of ultra-realistic CGI, advanced rendering, and AI-assisted workflows, it’s easy to chase technical perfection. But the animations that truly stay with us are rarely remembered for polygon count or render settings. They’re remembered for the feeling. A small facial expression. A pause before dialogue. A subtle hand movement. A moment that feels human. At VSP Black Diamond Media & Production, we believe great animation is not just about motion — it’s about emotional storytelling. Technology evolves every year, but authentic emotion will always remain timeless in character animation, VFX, and cinematic storytelling. That’s the difference between watching a scene… and feeling connected to it. Explore creative inspiration: https://www.artstation.com https://www.behance.net Save this for the days you focus too much on perfection and forget the emotion behind the art. What animated scene emotionally stayed with you long after watching it? 👇 #animation #3danimation #storytelling #characteranimation #vfx #cgi #motiondesign #digitalart #animationstudio #creativeindustry #animator #filmmaking #emotionalstorytelling #linkedincreatorskedincreators

Our studio's take on a highly requested turntable animation. We're always thinking about how to elevate what's already working in the product animation space. For this piece, the goal was to create an environment that complemented the design language of the Headphone-1 's without overpowering it. Instead of relying on complex camera flybys or heavy motion, we kept the animation focused, minimal, and product-led. The result is a looping visual designed to live in the background - on retail displays, department store screens, launch environments, or maybe even inside Nothing's HQ. Simple, clean, and product first. #motiondesign #productanimation #designstudio

I've been pretty impressed with Magnific. I signed up to Freepik a while ago before they introduced the AI tools. There seems to have been a massive surge in dev because there's a load of stuff on there now that's really good, and for the pricing well worth it.
