Claude Code is the new Microsoft Office on steroids to me. It’s bound by its XML roots currently, and it’s closed source nature. Pharma runs on Office suites + Veeva (which I famously declared “it’s technically not GxP compliant software” 😆) but hope that changes over time. Anthropic has given most attention to properly dealing with Office suites files so no wonder they get more penetration into life sciences.
