✍ Writing Post Wednesday ✍ “Words, like glass, obscure when they do not aid vision.” — Joseph Joubert Write with Clarity. Write so the reader understands the people behind the message. Write so every word sharpens the story, not clouds it. If it doesn’t serve the message, let it go. By uniformity, I mean knowing exactly what you are writing about and ensuring your thoughts flow into one another without falling apart. This is the only way your writing can truly make sense to your readers and impact them. Therefore, if there is one thing writers should work on, it is the ability to make their work well-articulated.

I once heard someone say that writing is a lonely profession. I’m not sure that’s entirely true. Yes, the work itself happens in quiet rooms and early mornings. But every sentence is written with someone else in mind — a future reader we may never meet. In that sense, writing might be one of the most relational forms of work there is. We spend hours alone so that a stranger, somewhere, might feel understood for a moment. #amwriting #writingcommunity
