The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said Monday that its goal is to protect the nation’s #criticalinfrastructure from all #cyberthreats, including those from Russia. “CISA’s mission is to defend against all cyber threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure, including from Russia,” according to a message posted on the agency’s X, formerly Twitter, handle. “There has been no change in our posture. Any reporting to the contrary is fake and undermines our #nationalsecurity.” https://lnkd.in/gwXT2CAq

Another cyber security breach of potential and downstream significance for many government entities and companies. "The cybersecurity company F5 Inc. said nation-state hackers breached its networks, gaining “long-term, persistent access” to certain systems and stealing some source code. The breach prompted alerts from cybersecurity agencies in the U.S. and U.K., with a senior US official warning of potentially “catastrophic” compromises". https://lnkd.in/ebjMvSKK

Only 17 percent of small businesses have cyber insurance, leaving most exposed at a time when digital threats are rising faster than ever. I’ve witnessed firsthand how cyber attacks can completely shut down companies, sometimes putting them out of business for good. Every business should review a cyber insurance proposal to evaluate whether it’s the right fit for its unique risks and operations. Check the link in my comments for a quick video in which I walk through a cyber insurance proposal and explain the coverage it provides.

As enterprises struggle to keep up with the ever-changing cyber threat landscape, the security community is recognizing what Infinidat has been saying for years: Cyberattacks are not a matter of “if,” but rather of “when.” As Bill Basinas writes in his new blog, if you are serious about fast recovery after a cyberattack, you need a rock-solid cyber storage platform that can protect your data, validate it, and recover it near-instantaneously. https://okt.to/xBId8z

Today’s sophisticated threats don’t just harm your data, but your entire blast radius. Of the organizations that paid a ransom last year, 74% had their backups compromised. In this Rubrik session, we’ll show you why an offsite, isolated data vault — outside your environment, and account — is non-negotiable for cyber recovery 👉 https://bit.ly/4owyRUf
