Last week I joined James Dwiggins and Keith Robinson on the Real Estate Insiders Unfiltered Podcast to talk about the state of real estate in 2026, the Compass/Rocket/Redfin deal, how leadership is critical for organized real estate moving forward, and of course, the role of AI in shaping what's next. Hope you'll take the time to listen, this is a good one! Russ Cofano, Alloy Advisors
MLS vs Big Tech: What Happens Next?

I always enjoy their podcast but definitely enjoyed hearing from someone I've had the pleasure of breaking bread with. Lots of good candid discussion that needs to happen.
Great open and transparent conversation among people who care about the industry and the impacts that are tangible and near. IMO - the end of the current era is coming one way or another...there has been no shortage of opportunity for the MLS side of industry to come together and own/define this shift, rather than let it happen to them, long before last week's announcement. It's not just a Rocket/Redfin/Compass V Zillow problem...and to ignore the components of real change that has already occurred is the tragedy writing itself. The distribution and acquisition of data should have been standardized and collaborative and democratized long ago as an answer to the true needs of the industry/customer it serves. But here we go....the transformation - for better or worse is happening.
