JUSTICE FOR ANGEL CHAKMA We are beyond furious— we are out for blood. Angel Chakma, a 24-year-old student from Tripura, wasn't just killed; he was slaughtered in Dehradun. This wasn't a random act of violence—it was a cold-blooded hate crime fueled by pure, unadulterated racism. Angel and his brother Michael weren't attacked for what they did; they were hunted for how they looked. Spat on with slurs like “Chinki,” “Chinese,” and “momos,” Angel spent two weeks fighting for his life in a hospital bed before the wounds of hate finally took him. This is not just a crime. This is a goddamn national disgrace. * How many more Northeastern bodies need to be buried before this country wakes up? • Why is "casual racism" still tolerated as a joke when it ends in a funeral? • When will the state stop offering "condolences" and start providing protection? They are NOT foreigners. They are NOT guests in their own country. They are Indians—and they are done asking nicely. We demand immediate justice, absolute accountability, and a scorched-earth policy against the bigots who did this. Justice for Angel. Justice for Michael. Justice for every Northeastern student living in fear. Enough is enough. Break the silence. Smash the racism. Act now, or admit that Indian lives only matter if they fit your narrow mold. https://lnkd.in/g5cdtRbn #JusticeForEnjel #EndRacism #StopHate #NortheastIndia #JusticeForMichael
Indian? Chinese? Aren't we human anymore?
So was he Chinese mix or Indian I am just curious about why this would could happen, its horrible that any person suffers for what race they are people don't choose their race and many other aspects of their lives and should not be persecuted for it people are people that deserve to live and thrive as long as a person isn't a bad person that harms others they should be left to live their life at the very least one day maybe intelligence will prevail and racism and other isms will disappear unfortunately we are still here and its just sad
It is too serious issue
Nation is served hatred 365*24*7 in the name of religion, region, caste, language and what not. Government allows it and Police selectively cherry picks a side and justice is never served. Regards - A mob lynching survivor.
Instead of advocating for foreign nationals from countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan—or protesting issues in other countries in the name of religion, caste, or race—we should first stand up for the protection of our own citizens, including our Northeast brothers and sisters and all people in our own country.
It is high time Indians grow up and realise North-East India is also "INDIA". You will not be shocked to learn that many Indian's don't even know that states Like Mizoram, Nagaland and such are a part of India. It is disgusting how people use racist slurs to get a few laughs.
Support #justiceforAnjelChakma - Its time to stop such indifference towards our brothers & sisters from North-East, STOP CALLING THEM CHINESE. We are all Indians! We are all One Family. 🙏 Perpetrators should be Punished 🙏
Funny that when China claims Arunanchal as their terrotory, we oppose it, but when some from Arunanchal meets us, we call them Chinese.
This is how we repay a father for serving his country day and night at the border, sacrificing his sleep and safety so that we may live in peace. Yet, he had to witness the unimaginable, his own son being beaten to death by a group of goons simply because he looked different. Where are we heading as a country? There was a time when peace, joy, and prosperity existed among people of all religions, communities, and cultures. We want that OLD Bharat back, where everyone is treated equally and with respect. RIP to our beloved brother. May your soul rest in peace.
