💡 At Amazon, innovation isn’t just about what we build—it’s how we work. 👇 Learn the 7 principles that guide how we operate like a startup while delivering at a global scale (including one thing that CEO Andy Jassy says ‘disproportionately matters for every business, in every industry, at all times’).
Fantastic job by René Bruun and others.
Very informative
Hey Amazon, You truly never cease to amaze. I applied for an entry-level role on the 12th of February and completed all the required steps, including the test. After patiently waiting for over two months, I finally received an update on the 17th of April—an automatically generated email politely informing me that “we will continue with another candidate”. Seriously? Is this the standard you uphold in candidate experience? No personalised feedback, no transparency about the process—just silence for weeks on end followed by a robotic rejection email. If this is how you treat prospective employees, I can’t help but wonder how current employees fare within your organisation. This experience has left me questioning the efficiency and empathy of your recruitment practices. Surely, a company of Amazon’s stature can afford to put more effort into acknowledging the time and energy that applicants invest in your hiring process.
Jassy nailed it. We're seeing this startup energy ripple all the way to China, factories are way more flexible, TikTok Shop in Europe is booming, and Amazon sellers are demanding faster restocks.
Love seeing how Amazon blends startup energy with global scale. Curious which principle Andy Jassy singles out—those kinds of insights are gold for any business.

Thoughtful post, thanks
Amazon Europe’s FBA operations are a complete disaster. Eleven boxes of my products were lost and my damages still haven’t been compensated. Don’t ever use Amazon Europe FBA warehouses. It’s an absolute disgrace.
Incredibly informative
