Everyone Is Talking About AI in Travel… But Missing This Airlines are using AI. Hotels are using AI. However, what about the majority of companies? Still approving travel by email. There is a gap here. External systems are evolving rapidly. Internal processes are not. The true opportunity lies in faster decision-making rather than faster booking. #AIinTravel #CorporateTravel #FutureOfWork #JourneyJunction #BusinessSystems

Travel teams aren't short on data. They're short on time to act on it. In his latest Forbes piece, Oversee's CEO Aviel Siman-Tov makes the case that AI's real value in travel isn't replacement - it's removing the operational friction that prevents human expertise from being applied where it matters most. That’s exactly why most people overpay. Flight prices today aren’t random — they’re driven by real-time demand, algorithms, and constant fluctuations. In fact, fares can change multiple times a day, and most travelers miss the best deals simply because they’re not tracking them properly. 👉 The smarter move? Let AI do the tracking for you. In this guide, we break down how to set up AI-powered price alerts so you never miss a price drop again — no more refreshing tabs or guessing “best days to book.” ✔️ Track price drops automatically ✔️ Get notified at the right time ✔️ Book when fares are actually low (not when you think they are) If you're serious about saving on long-haul flights, this is a must-read 👇 https://lnkd.in/gZpm3E23 💡 Because in 2026, smart travelers don’t search more — they track better. #TravelSmart #FlightDeals #AI #CanadaTravel #DigitalTravel #Metairfare

This week, our team is at the Phocuswright Travel Marketing AI Summit. Across the industry, one theme is becoming clear: AI, data, and infrastructure are no longer separate conversations, they’re converging to redefine how travel platforms are built. From how travelers discover experiences to how systems connect behind the scenes, the shift is already underway. We’re looking forward to the insights and bringing them back into how we think about connected travel ecosystems. #TravelTechnology #TravelTech #AI #TravelInfrastructure

The rise of AI means we'll finally move from "trips that have customers" to "customers who have trips." I used to think the critical path was for travel suppliers and intermediaries to rearchitect their internal systems around customers first and trips second. I now know it means the customer will be using a single AI system to run most of their lives -- for purposes that include, but go WAY beyond, trips -- and the travel industry will be an input, not the main character, in that journey.

The ABTA Travel & Email event yesterday was a great one. In my session, I made a bold claim: within three years, AI travel assistants will be the new normal, handling the entire journey, from need recognition to evaluating the trip. It sounds ambitious. But look at how fast AI is evolving. Just four months ago, generating a realistic image by combining a headshot with a frame was not working at all. Today, it’s accurate and first time right. Now imagine where we’ll be in two years. Planning, booking, personalising, supporting, all handled seamlessly by AI, tailored to each individual traveller. The question isn’t if this will happen. It’s how quickly we adapt when it does.

The BTA has been busy In Conversation lately - but this one felt different 👀 Why? Because it wasn’t just a conversation between two people; we introduce AI. Clive Wratten is joined by Giles Leather, Director Business Development EMEA at DerbySoft, to explore key challenges in business hotel booking and what’s changing. Then came the moment that changed the tone of the episode entirely 🚀 🤖 A live demo of DerbySoft’s AI Voice Agent - joining the discussion in real time and verifying a hotel booking. Not a concept. A live interaction. Booking verification. Invoice chasing. Automated servicing. If you’re wondering what “AI in business travel” actually looks like beyond the buzzwords… This is it. 🎧 Listen Here: https://lnkd.in/eGpqGpA7 Andrew Clarke Helen Turner Samantha Wells Stephanie Carroll #LetsGetToWork #yourBTA #TravellingforWork #CorporateTravel #BusinessTravel #TravelTech #AI #HotelDistribution #Innovation #DigitalTransformation

23hHi, My name is Mustafa Bayrak, founder of AsistAll FZ-LLC, a Dubai-based company. We have been trying to obtain access to Amadeus APIs for our mobile travel application AsistAll for approximately 6 months. During this time, we applied for Self-Service APIs but were not able to obtain production access. We have also made multiple attempts to move forward with Enterprise APIs, but have not received clear guidance or progress. We would like to integrate APIs for flights, hotels, car rentals, yacht rentals, and all other services you provide, and we are ready to proceed commercially. We kindly request your support to accelerate this process and provide us with a clear response. If you are not the right contact, we would appreciate it if you could direct us to the appropriate person or team who can assist us.
