How AI can enhance human-led virtual training sessions

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

We all know what AI can do in the learning space today: - Generate prompts - Take notes - Analyze survey results - Summarize transcripts But where do we go from here? What comes next? After a recent conversation with my leader, I started exploring how we might take the next step: using AI not just as a tool, but as a co-facilitator in virtual training sessions. I'm not saying that we move to a Jetsons-style classroom: a robot teacher at the front, sharing content and asking questions and the human facilitator stands at the back. Instead how do we work together to guide the experience, reading the room, and pressing the right buttons at the right time. This isn’t science fiction. It’s a vision for how AI can enhance human-led learning. I’ve long believed that people learn from people they like, people they trust... but they learn from people. And that is still true. Facilitators bring empathy, intuition, and connection. But we don't have to do it alone. AI can bring speed, scale, and support to our sessions. We don’t have to choose one over the other. AI supports, not replaces, the facilitator. So I’m curious: How are you and your team driving future-focused AI skills across your delivery teams? Let’s share ideas, challenges, and what’s working. #LearningAndDevelopment #ModernLearning #Moderization #IWork4Dell #FutureOfWork #VirtualFacilitation #LeadershipDevelopment #TalentDevelopment

You actually pose an interesting question and something I would like to give even more thought to - my initial reaction is that we could use AI in more of a producer tool: ask AI to summarize chats that have come in. This may be especially helpful in larger sessions. You could ask the AI to also help you identify and flag like questions and comments to help the facilitator address the chat quickly and efficiently. Another thought is that we can ask the AI to join specific smaller groups in breakouts to ask questions or maybe even act as a new or differing perspective. Last thought - I have been thinking a lot about the value of case studies - AI could create a just in time case study based on the topics and discussion participants are engaging in that mirrors their context and facilitators can still easily facilitate and guide the discussion. Looking forward to seeing other ideas!
