Promotion complexity is the hidden tax on enterprise GitOps. ⚠️ Custom scripts create maintenance burdens. 👨💻 Tool sprawl increases context switching. 🛠️ Visibility gaps slow incident response. 🧠 In this session, see how Akuity standardizes promotions across Kubernetes, Terraform, VMs, and cloud services from one centralized platform. 🔁 📅 March 17 | 9:30AM PT Reserve your seat - link in comments!👇 #GitOps #Kargo #DevOps #CloudNative #ArgoCD 🐙

Learning something exciting today! 🌍 Containerization helps developers package applications with everything they need so they can run anywhere consistently. Compared to traditional servers and VMs, containers are lighter, faster, and more scalable. Sharing a simple visual I created to understand the concept better. Grateful to Unnati Development and Training Centre Pvt Ltd for supporting my learning and growth in my DevOps journey #TechLearning #Containerization #Docker #Cloud #DevOps

Kubernetes v1.36 Highlights Here’s a quick summary of Kubernetes v1.36 key highlights: • HPA scaling to zero • Ephemeral image pull tokens • kube-proxy IPVS deprecation • faster scheduler • Gateway API momentum • improved support for AI workloads These changes continue the trend of Kubernetes becoming: • more secure • more scalable • more cost-efficient • better suited for modern cloud workloads If you're running production clusters, it’s worth reviewing these features early. #Kubernetes #DevOps #CloudNative #KubernetesRelease #PlatformEngineering

🚀 Starting my journey with Terraform! Terraform helps automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Instead of manually creating resources, we can define everything in code. Basic Terraform workflow: 1️⃣ Write configuration 2️⃣ Run "terraform init" 3️⃣ Run "terraform plan" 4️⃣ Run "terraform apply" Excited to keep learning more about DevOps and Cloud technologies. #Terraform #DevOps #Cloud #InfrastructureAsCode #AWS #CloudEngineering

If Docker is a single track… Kubernetes is the entire railway system Most people start their DevOps journey with Docker… Everything feels simple: Build → Run → Done Then comes Kubernetes Suddenly you're dealing with: • Pods • Services • Ingress • Scaling • Networking • Failures (lots of them) That’s when you realize 👉 Docker is just the beginning 👉 Kubernetes is the real game What was your biggest struggle while learning Kubernetes? #DevOps #Docker #Kubernetes #Cloud #SRE

Manual changes made through the console can disrupt Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. While Terraform plan can detect drift, it only does so when executed. To ensure continuous monitoring and remediation, consider automating the following: - Schedule Terraform plan in CI - Set up alerts for changes - Remediate with Terraform apply (with approval) Utilize tools like Atlantis, Terraform Cloud, and Terragrunt to streamline this process. Drift is inevitable; therefore, detection is essential. #Terraform #Drift #InfrastructureAsCode #DevOps #Automation
