"Future-Proofing Storytelling: AI-Powered Shorts Wow at Sundance 🎥" • Taryn O'Neill and Momo Wang showcased their short films, "MythOS" and "Wink", created with Adobe Firefly and other AI tools in impressively short order. • The panel highlighted the technical challenges faced by the filmmakers, including lip-syncing for animal characters and using Adobe Stock images as starting points. • Both O'Neill and Wang emphasized the importance of collaboration, iteration, and attention to detail in bringing their projects to life. As we continue to navigate the intersection of technology and artistry, it's clear that AI tools have opened up new possibilities for creative expression. However, human artistry remains at the heart of storytelling. The future of filmmaking is all about embracing technology while staying true to our artistic instincts. Let's find our tribe, tell stories together, and use AI as a tool to help complete our dreams! 🤝 #AIinFilm #SundanceFilmFestival #FutureOfStorytelling #CollaborationMatters #ArtMeetsTechnology https://lnkd.in/dkEA_9VH

What if an entire cartoon episode could be created without manually generating every single image? 🎬🤖 That’s exactly where automation meets imagination. At TAWAI STUDIO, we’re now automating the complete image generation workflow for an entire cartoon episode using Whisk — from scene to scene, shot to shot, consistently and at scale. No random outputs. No broken characters. Just a repeatable, creator-first AI pipeline. 🎨 What this unlocks for creators: -Automated image generation for full cartoon episodes -Visual consistency across characters & scenes -Faster production without creative burnout A true factory-style workflow for storytelling 🚀 This is a new topic launching soon inside our AI Cartoon Film Program — where creators don’t just learn tools, they learn systems. Because the future of animation isn’t about generating one image. It’s about designing workflows that create 100s of images effortlessly. Watching an AI build a documentary timeline in real time is a different kind of moment. We’re now using our system to ingest footage directly from camera, read notes and intent, and then construct the documentary timeline automatically structuring scenes, labeling clips, and arranging story beats as material comes in. What matters is control. I’m not clicking, trimming, or dragging clips. I’m guiding when the system acts and why it acts. I can steer the narrative, pause the process, or step in entirely when the rhythm and beats are flowing the way I want. In practice: 11 hours of footage → a coherent, structured timeline in minutes, built around story instead of timestamps. This isn’t automation replacing editors. It’s production intelligence that understands structure, pacing, and intent and only moves when invited. What would of taken months I just did in moments. This is what AI looks like when it actually belongs in documentary filmmaking. This system is compatible with DaVinci resolve we are working on other systems at the moment. 🎥 invideo Camera Controls just dropped Invideo just introduced Camera Controls and this is a bigger deal than it sounds. 🔹 Camera control = creative control 🔹 It brings pro-level filmmaking decisions into the workflow (framing, movement, intention) 🔹 Less “random AI motion”, more directing If this is implemented well, it’s one more step toward AI video tools that feel like a real set of knobs, not a slot machine. 📱 Want AI updates on WhatsApp? AI Video Engine is Evolving Fast 🚀 | Cinematic Motion + Realistic Characters Just finished creating a few cinematic scenes using some of the latest AI video tools in the market and the results honestly surprised me. The realism level is improving day by day, especially in motion control, character consistency, and camera movement.. What stands out the most is how the new AI video engines are now delivering better physics, smooth cinematic transitions, improved facial expressions, and more stable frame generation making scenes look closer to real film shots than ever before. AI video is booming rapidly, and this feels like the start of a new era for filmmakers and creators. 🎬✨ Attaching the video below. Would love to hear your feedback! 2026, may this be a benchmark for where technology is today. With a singular software, i am able to use AI to generate an image, then i use a video reference to mimic and translate that image onto my video, and the consistency and motion capture programmed does its work. If i were a story teller, and had the time and capital, i can probably create an entire workflow to help me create scenes and character to create a short film or movie, all by myself. Zero cinematography skills, zero graphic design skills, zero editing skills. All just an imagination, a thought, and a few actions in Natural Language created this. #tech #ai

HighFive companion: We just used our AI to build a documentary end to end without touching the edit. This is a tool we have designed that helps you edit, but doesn’t take control unless you are stuck or need things set up. Making everything faster and easier. From the moment footage is imported from camera, our system can now: • Ingest and organize footage in real time • Build a storyboard around notes and intent • Label and structure material automatically • Assemble the edit • Perform color correction What’s important is how control works. I didn’t “prompt” my way through an edit, and I didn’t hand creative decisions to a black box. I had full control over when the system edits and why it edits. I can steer it, pause it, or take over entirely when the beats are flowing the way I want. This give you the whole edit plan, than helps you through the process step by step. Leaving the control in the hands of creatives while saving time. In practical terms: 11 hours of documentary footage → structured, edited output in ~30 minutes of interaction with the system. This isn’t automation replacing editors. It’s production intelligence that understands intent, structure, and timing and only moves when you let it. This is the kind of AI that actually belongs in filmmaking. HigherKey Studios #DocumentaryFilm #AIinFilm #PostProduction #CreativeTechnology #FilmEditing #HigherKey #ProductionAI

"Video Editing is dead. Long live the Editor?" This cinematic drone edit, which is one of my edits that went viral—was made by an AI. All I had to do was feed it the raw footage and minimal direction. It's actually getting insane how fast the 'boring' parts of our video editing jobs are being automated. If AI can handle complex cinematic sequencing, where does that leave the human editor? Will video editors go extinct?😂 Share your thoughts down below: #videoediting #ai #generativeai #filmmaking #futureofwork
