AIRBNB IS A SCAM I made a reservation for an apartment in New York, but when I contacted the host, she informed me that the apartment is not actually available for rent. She said she had no idea how I was even able to make the reservation. I then participated in a conference call with your support team and the host to explain the situation. During the call, we were instructed to contact support separately, which we did. Since then, I have spoken with multiple representatives, but I still have not received any clear answers or resolution. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back, but no one ever did. When I attempted to cancel the reservation, I was refunded only 350$ . I was charged 4,387 for 30 days for an apartment that does not even exist. They keep telling me to contact the host which the system does not allow me to call her. They say their hands te tied.

Never book from Airbnb. I stay outside in the middle of the night because host doesn't allow me to get in at 11:07 clock. It was terrible. I had to find another hotel in the middle of night. If you want a strees free holiday, just search a hotel nearby. I am sure you can find a cheap one , even same price. But don't trust this Airbnb. I will be keep an eye on this brand and will show how people defend their rights. You can't simply ruin people's holiday and disappear.

Hice una reserva, el anfitrión no me dejo ingresar, no me contesto y tampoco me quiere reembolsar mi dinero. ¿Airbnb no me brindara ninguna solucion? Que pésimo servicio estoy recibiendo por parte de atención al cliente, exijo una solución, ahora mismo estoy en la calle a media noche en Milán.

Considering Gen Alpha is growing up with one of the most travelled childhoods so far… I’m very curious to see what their version of travel will look like. ✨ Because honestly, my kids would probably skip the “luxury rooftop cocktails” and go straight to: “OMG CAN WE JUMP FROM THAT JUNGLE BALCONY STRAIGHT INTO THE SEA?” 😭 …obviously after carefully closing their tablets first.

Greece is the cleanest case study for this trend. Greek tourism policy has been explicitly building toward what the carousel is signaling: redirect demand from overtouristed icons like Santorini and Mykonos toward less-trafficked islands and mainland regions, capture higher per-visitor spend with reduced volume. The Gen Z "different corners" framing is the consumer signal that finally lines up with a national tourism strategy that's been waiting for demand to follow.

This explains why so many people are moving toward quieter places, local experiences, and being more offline while traveling. As someone working in social media, I’ve been craving this more too.

What’s interesting here is less the destination overlap and more the shift in how people experience travel. Gen Z isn’t just revisiting classic itineraries they’re fragmenting them into hyper-specific, culture-driven micro-experiences. Same map, completely different intent layer.

True discovery begins the exact moment we stop running.
