💼 MLOps Is Exploding in Demand — Here’s Where I am starting. AI is booming. But the truth is — most models never make it to production. That’s exactly why MLOps roles are skyrocketing in demand — the engineers who turn “trained models” into real, scalable systems. I recently came across one of the best structured guides I’ve seen yet : 👉 https://roadmap.sh/mlops It covers everything from: ML fundamentals & versioning Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Model monitoring, scaling, retraining I’ve started following it step by step, applying it as I learn, and documenting progress here. Also, roadmap.sh has similar roadmaps for backend, AI, DevOps, and more — perfect for anyone trying to align learning with industry demand. If you’re a beginner or if you're looking to transition into AI or MLOps — this is a great starting point. #MLOps #GenAI #AIInfrastructure #LearningInPublic #MachineLearning #DevOps

Ship the smallest tool that moves the metric. My 80/10 rule: if a simple rule gets ≥80% of the value at ≤10% of the cost, ship it. Ladder of escalation: Rule → Heuristic → Classic ML → GenAI. Pick one north-star metric (conversion, AHT, churn) and unit economics per step. Escalate only when the next rung pays back within your payback window. Kill complexity early: A/B against the current best; include ops cost, latency, failure modes. Revisit quarterly; when the rule plateaus or drifts, move one rung up. When would you move up one rung in your stack? #datascience #mlops #productmanagement #telecom

Our fine-tuned SLM model was perfect… until it wasn’t. Three months after launch, its answers drifted. Accuracy dropped. Nothing had changed except the world around it. That’s when we realized: fine-tuning isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of MLOps. Models evolve, data shifts, and user behavior moves on. Without drift detection, retraining, and monitoring, even the best fine-tuned model quietly loses its edge. Software engineering never really left us. It just grew up into DevOps, then MLOps; with the same DNA of reliability, automation, and security. Fine-tuning builds intelligence. MLOps sustains it. #MLOps #DevOps #AI #MachineLearning #LLM #ModelOps #AIEngineering #vfirstt #SLM

Deploy ML Models Like Code → Flux CD & KitOps Transforming ML prototypes into production is messy. Changing datasets, tricky model parameters, scattered artifacts, and increasing dependencies make good deployment difficult. The Solution? → KitOps simplifies packaging complex AI/ML projects into tamper-proof OCI artifacts compatible with existing tools. → FluxCD applies GitOps to ML, automating deployments and offering versioned views of all running instances. How to do it? → Package ML models into tamper-proof artifacts with KitOps → Build containerized model servers with Docker → Implement GitOps-based deployments with Flux CD → Create automated, auditable deployment pipelines for ML models A tutorial using "distilbert-base-uncased" from Hugging Face👇

✨ Announced at #IDPCON2025 ✨ A new era for your developer portal starts today. The Cortex MCP is now generally available. It connects your Cortex catalog directly to your AI assistant and IDE bringing ownership, documentation, and operational data into every conversation. No more tab-hopping. No more digging through tools to find answer “who owns this?” at 2 a.m. Just instant answers, grounded in the truth of your IDP. 🫡 For engineers, it’s an incident copilot. 👀 For platform & SRE teams, it’s visibility in motion. 🎯 For leaders, it’s insight on demand. Your developer portal — now everywhere you work. → Learn more about the Cortex MCP: https://lnkd.in/gHtjhPVt

The biggest threat to MLOps isn’t lack of tools or infrastructure. It’s overengineering pipelines no one can actually reproduce. We chase automation, scalability and fancy orchestration but forget the basics like clarity, documentation and repeatability. A pipeline that works only on one engineer’s laptop isn’t production ready no matter how elegant it looks on the diagram. Keep it simple, reproducible and human readable. That’s real MLOps maturity. #MLOps #MachineLearning #AI

⚙️ MLOps isn’t about fancy tools — it’s about trust. You can automate pipelines, track experiments, and monitor drift all you want — but the core of MLOps is making sure your model behaves reliably every single day. It’s not about: 🚫 flashy dashboards 🚫 perfect CI/CD pipelines It’s about: ✅ reproducibility — you can rebuild the same result tomorrow ✅ observability — you know when something’s off ✅ deployability — you can push updates without breaking things ML without Ops is a research prototype. Ops without ML is just plumbing. MLOps is what makes AI survive in production. #MLOps #MachineLearning #AppliedML #AIEngineering

Every SRE team has a few engineers who just know. They know the root cause before ever opening a dashboard. But when they leave, the know-how leaves with them. That’s why teams build runbooks and documentation—but keeping them current is a Sisyphean task. As systems change, runbooks drift and decay. AI can finally break that loop. By running investigations automatically, learning from every incident, and keeping runbooks continuously updated, it turns tribal knowledge into institutional memory that scales. 👉 Read the post: https://lnkd.in/gqBFktZX #SRE #AIOps #IncidentResponse #ReliabilityEngineering #Runbooks
