👀 Revisit the #ELIXIR_STEERS policy brief "Strategies for Enhancing the Credit and Recognition of Research Artefacts" 🙌 The policy brief outlined recommendations to enhance the credit and recognition of non-traditional #ResearchArtefacts within European research assessment systems. These artefacts 🔬, such as curated datasets, research software, workflows and training materials, are often overlooked in traditional evaluation frameworks and yet are key to modern, collaborative 🤝 and reproducible science. Many of us grew up finding magic between library shelves. But today, those spaces are quietly fading. How can we re-ignite that connection in a digital world? Grateful to share my latest publication in Global Knowledge, Memory and Communication (Emerald Publishing) — ABDC B, Scopus Q1, WoS Q2 (CiteScore 7.0 │ Impact Factor 2.4). The paper, “Integrating Topic Modeling with Library Branding: A Text Analytics Approach,” explores how data analytics and branding can together help libraries evolve into dynamic, community-driven knowledge ecosystems. I’m proud to announce that our systematic review article is now published co-authored with Secil Caskurlu, Jieun Lim and Kadir Kozan. We examine 15+ years of empirical research and show how the CoI framework and learning analytics can mutually enrich one another — while highlighting clear gaps and opportunities for advancing online learning environments. Special thanks to our advisor, Dr. Jennifer Richardson who nurture us to become the researchers we are. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/ePcjKVpX

CONGRATS TO Yide Liu, Wynne Chin, Jun-Hwa Cheah, Joe Hair, and Chan Lyu on their new article in the Journal of Business Research #JBR: "Tackling Missing Data in PLS-SEM: Strategies and Insights for Business Research": https://lnkd.in/egHSSYUY This article provides clear, practice-oriented guidance on how to deal with missing data in PLS-SEM, including approaches for data that are not missing at random. It offers both conceptual discussion and empirical evidence. A very valuable read for anyone doing PLS-SEM or reviewing PLS-SEM studies. Highly recommended!

one of the most relevant topic in empiric research. a great read specifically for variance-based SEM. of course there are (and likely always will be) two train of thoughts regarding missing data: (a) discard every missing and (b) consider plausible approaches.

"Within this structure, the “shortcut” is not a moral lapse. It is an adaptive response. The scholar facing multiple rejections and limited recognition must decide between two losses. Credibility or visibility. Visibility usually wins because appraisal forms and ranking dashboards register only what can be counted. Quantification translates ethical reasoning into technical reasoning. When output quantity substitutes for evaluation of quality, the question shifts from should I? to can I afford not to? The system converts hesitation into inefficiency." #highereducation #publication #IndianAcademia https://lnkd.in/gW_cJqe6
