The institutional crypto adoption everyone celebrated is quietly killing what made crypto special. We wanted mainstream acceptance. Now we have corporate compliance, sanitized messaging, and risk-averse decision making. The messy, experimental, move-fast-and-break-things energy that built this space is being replaced by committee approvals and legal reviews. Not saying it's good or bad. Just different. But if you're building something truly innovative, don't wait for institutional validation. The edge always comes from the margins.
All very true!
Definitely. Someone has to be brave and bold for great things to happen. It doesn't matter if institutions are joining in. Bring it on. We can still build dope stuff.
Centralized aspects entering immaturely!
Crypto never struck me as “move-fast-break-things” space. The slowness and meticulousness are exactly the reason what made it resilient as it is today. In that sense, it is a match in heaven with institutional red tape lol.
Agathe Laurent Richard it is different. the future of crypto is hybrid.
