Great! I published a popular book to called “Love, Hope, Lyme: What Family Members, Partners, and Friends Who Love a Chronic Lyme Survivor Need to Know,” to spread awareness to people in your life who don’t understand the impact of it. I don’t have Lyme but wrote the book when I wanted to learn more about what someone I loved was dealing with and how to help families understand the disease. The e-version (pdf) IS ALWAYS FREE for Lyme survivors (PM me). I also host the “Love, Hope, Lyme” podcast on Apple, Spotify and You Tube to help family members understand.

We need to bypass our outdated systems. Lyme/borrelia, Bartonella, babesia can cause EVERY brain disorder, found in 89% of children with bipolar illness by Greenberg, 2025, in schizophrenia, autism, psychosis, dementia, every mental illness. Yet there are NO testing of causes before giving psych drugs, even to children. DSM is based ONLY on symptoms. It is unethical. Even of basic labs 21years after knew B12 can cause a list of brain disorders including autism children, miscarriages, gait abnormalities, postpartum depression, suicides. Low B12 or MTHFR, very common gene is proven. Lyme is more common than syphilis is much worse. 1/2 million a year, not in prenatal, psych, dementia tests. Would you shrug if syphilis was ignored? It is a travesty millions of times worse than the Tuskeegee Scandal. Early dementia was reversed in 9 months 2025 EVANTHEA when " test don't guess" root causes. COPY IT! Secretary Kennedy and President Trump have health care back the humanitarian base. This is about making all diseases a priority! Of course major killer diseases remain the main thrust of disease research. If you get a call your parent has lump or a call that your child was bitten by a tick - The intensity of caring is the same. Secretary Kennedy and President Trump both deserve all our support in this search for treatments and preventive medicine.

Thank you! Pennsylvania has often lead the nation in the number of reported Lyme disease cases. Reported in all 67 counties Tioga county has an incidence rate 63% higher than state average. Thank you HHS for your efforts and expertise.
