So I've got a few since yesterday about "SMTP" warmups on Smartlead I'll remove the suspense for everyone. We're the `only` platform in the world that keeps it performance-based AND completely transparent. Yes, we have 100s of pools, and you will know at all times which pool you are in and the gateway to the next pool. Transparently, not hidden anywhere. No you don't get there by "buying" your way in with us, it's programmatic. If your accounts do well, you have well-set-up mailboxes, don't have disconnects, they go up the pool later, in a proprietary manner. To oversimplify a rather complex system setup. You can read up all about how we do it in the first commment. Now back to winning and not whining. 😉

1. Pool placement is based on user behaviour and how their mailboxes perform in their account across all their accounts, nothing to do with “SMTP” or otherwise 2. IF someone has high volume SMTPs and they have historically for that user, had high bounce rates in campaigns, sender bounces, OR they’ve had mass disconnects impacting the warmup pool we put them on high risk to protect everyoneSimplito

This makes sense. Good mailbox behavior should decide where an account sits, and showing that clearly makes the system feel much more trustworthy.

The only sustainable way to manage warmup pools is exactly this ! Tie placement to actual sending behaviour, not arbitrary tiers or manual overrides. Users who maintain clean infrastructure, avoid mass disconnects, and keep bounce rates low should naturally rise. Making this transparent is what separates Smartlead that’s genuinely partner-like from ones that are just a black box.
